Service was great. Our table was very wobbly so it made it interesting to not knock over drinks on the table. Overall, experience was great.

We enjoyed sitting outside — beautiful weather and fun people-watching. Loved the oysters and mussels and Malachi was a great server. One of our favorite places to entertain friends.

Been coming to Tom’s for years but lastnight I was super disappointed, the mussels were very bland, the perch was supposed to be fried instead it was soggy and the smoked salmon blt was bland. I used to love this place but I was overly disappointed lastnight especially after saving my appetite after a 12 hour shift.

Tom’s Oyster Bar is my all-time favorite restaurant. I have been to many restaurants around the country and they have the best seafood tower. It is even better than the one at Spago in Las Vegas. I live an hour away, but it is definitely worth the drive. This was not my first visit and definitely will not be my last. The oyster selection is superb this recent visit. I tried a Shigoku oyster from Washington and it was the best I’ve ever had. I have had oysters in Hawaii, Vegas, New Orleans, and Maryland and this restaurant has a high-quality selection of oysters to choose from. We ordered the salmon pate, and it was delicious and served with these extraordinary crackers. My daughter had the salmon BLT and it was out of this world and my brother was pleased with the shrimp and grits. My favorite soup is clam chowder and they have of the best I have ever had! Our beverages were also delicious, especially the blackberry mojito. The service has always been impeccable, and we were fortunate to have Imani who gave us fantastic service. I cannot wait till my next trip to Royal Oak!

I love the atmosphere but besides the oysters, beer and the atmosphere not sure if we’d eat dinner there again. Lobster roll was not very good, super small pcs of lobster. My Wife explained her dairy allergy very clearly to the waiter but her dish still came with dairy and was sent back for something else. Dinner for 3 with tip was $250. We can eat at Ruth Chris for that. If we go back it would be to eat oysters at the bar which were small but good.

It was a nice experience raw oysters are way overpriced we enjoyed the outside seating but the pokey bawl did not have any kind of sauce, so it was very blunt
