Le Toku Modern Asian propose une cuisine principalement japonaise avec des influences de Chine, de Corée et d'Asie du Sud-Est. Son menu asiatique moderne est élaboré à partir d'ingrédients et de techniques de cuisson provenant du monde entier. Les propriétaires Gillis et George Poll ont beaucoup voyagé et soupé partout dans le monde. Ils ont pu déguster une variété de plats qui les ont vraiment impressionnée, « les meilleurs des meilleurs ». Selon Gillis,« nous avons répertorié nos favoris ensemble et ajouté nos propres touches uniques ». George met l'accent sur la simplicité et la variété du menu. « Il s'agit d'un menu simple, sans chichi qui vous permettra de souper de la façon dont vous le souhaitez ». Vous pourrez savourer des repas traditionnels composés d'une entrée, d'un plat et d'un dessert ou opter exclusivement pour des sushis pour le souper. Vous aurez aussi la possibilité de commander des cocktails et une table pleine d'entrées et de brochettes à partager. « Le menu est créée pour le partage » confirme George. Vous choisissez quel type de repas vous souhaitez au Toku.

Whether you’re considering a corporate gathering for 30 with a presentation and dinner, a special sit down dinner celebration for 50 or a cocktail party for 100, Toku’s private dining area is the perfect place to entertain your guests. Our spacious restaurant is well-suited for all kinds of parties and corporate events. Our entire facility provides room for up to 150 who wish to enjoy a sit-down function and up to 250 for cocktails. Larger outdoor cocktail parties can be done with the additional cost of a tent.

We always love coming to Toku. The food is fantastic and very attentive service from Kevin who accommodated a food allergy and was very knowledgeable about my options.

Dear Toku Team, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my recent dining experience at your restaurant on Saturday, September 21, for what was meant to be a special birthday celebration. I had called in advance to request a nice table for the occasion, but unfortunately, the table we were given didn’t meet our expectations and lacked the special touch we were hoping for. Moreover, we had to send a dish back because the ingredients tasted spoiled, which resulted in one of us experiencing an upset stomach after the meal. This was particularly disappointing, especially since we had been looking forward to a memorable evening. I understand that things can go wrong from time to time, but given the special occasion and the circumstances, I felt it was important to bring this to your attention. This used to be one of our favorite places for Saturday or Sunday lunches, but the food quality, service, etc have all really gone down. The only thing that was good was the cocktails! Sushi wasn’t fresh tasting, Caesar salad (Asian) was way too heavy on the ginger that you tasted as if that’s all you’re biting into! Vegetable dumplings was literally flavorless and they used frozen corn and peas as the filling; terrible and ridiculous to chart the price it was. We waited 35 min between appetizers and entrees without one server coming to ask us if we wanted another drink or fill water. When the entrees came the sliders were bone dry, flavorless, and slightly cold inside! The short ribs were also over cooked for how lean and stringy the quality of the beef were — the sauce was runny and extremely salty while inside of the meat was again flavorless. The side noodles was under seasoned but wasn’t enhanced by the sauce of the short ribs that it sat on top of - with the 2 flavors completely not complimentary. Lastly, we had vanilla ice-cream as part of the lunch special dessert. Cannot even fathom how basic ice cream can be literally inedibly sweet! The place is starting to look really rundown and need a refresh as well. 2 of our leather chair seat cushions had holes in them. Time to change it up. It’s so sad to see a previous good restaurant become complacent and thereby just decline!

Lovely lunch with great food, big portions, great service and great ambiance. First time there but cannot wait to go back!

I was told I did not have a reservation even after I displayed the reservation and confirmation from open table. I was told there was no reservation and it was my fault and take it up with open table. I walked out

Food and service were great. However for a Tuesday it was packed therefore a bit loud, obviously. Overall a very nice place to dine
