Overall we had a great experience and an amazing meal! The only issue was the noise level. We were there for an anniversary dinner and were not able to talk to each other without screaming. They did take great care of us with champagne and an anniversary dessert!

What a wonderful experience!! Had a group birthday dinner here and we had the best time. Food was incredible and the atmosphere was spectacular. Our server Erica (maybe Erika) was absolutely fantastic and really made our dinner that much better. We will be back!

I’m so sorry to have to write a poor review for what used to be one of my favorite Tampa restaurants but something was off at Timpano tonight. First, our waiters were not friendly at all. We joked that maybe they were high. The restaurant was not busy so there really wasn’t a reason for poor service. We ordered parm to table, the tomahawk, some salads and apps. The main entrees were not served at the same time. In the past, the parm to table was done and timed well with when the main entrees came out. We had to ask twice when they were going to bring the cart out. The tomahawk was overcooked. We ordered a medium rare and it was a medium well. The manager told us it was the lighting. We were outside and there was nothing wrong with the lighting. 2 of my guests were chefs themselves. They did re- make the steak and it was very good the second time around. But the delay caused all of the sides to get cold. The parm to table chef could not have been any less enthusiastic or even remotely pleasant. They did comp a dessert which was good. But at over $300 with NO alcohol, i expect better. I don’t like giving negative reviews but I like this restaurant and really want them to address what is wrong. It used to be a favorite of mine but based on the recent reviews, it seems like many others are having similar experiences.

Unfortunately the chicken parm was served with cold red sauce requiring it to go back to the kitchen (guest unable to enjoy her dinner along with others at the table) There was nothing Gorgonzola about side we were served. Beyond those disappointments the food and evening were nice. The chocolate ice cream birthday treats were appreciated. Thank you

We love Timpano, beautiful restaurant the food quality is good, but every time we go there we never had a polite or nice hostess, they all have bad attitude for some reason, we did stop going for a while then we went back again because we love the place.

We had a great family dinner - server was friendly & prompt on everything we needed, greeted us within seconds of sitting down. 10/10 recommend!

New Favorite Restaurant due to service, ambiance, food, etc.! It was our 1st time there. I am diabetic & suddenly bottomed out while checking in. Jose immediately asked what I needed, got me a soda(to help increase my sugars), & brought the GM, Lindsey. They brought me to my table while they waited for my husband to come( who was parking the car). Then, Lindsey, found me a nurse who could assist if needed and brought me sugar packets & a cool compress(exactly what I needed). Meanwhile, our server, Corinne, checked on us, got us drinks, & we ordered appetizers (Calamari, Mussels, Focaccia w/ dips of whipped ricotta & also olive oil). Fantastic!!! Lunch of Pappardelle & Cavatelli, which are both delicious!!! The Tableside Bomboloni for dessert was great! We really enjoyed the presentation in the lemon verbena smoke! We sat outside and enjoyed all the dogs there(extremely dog friendly) & liked how the restaurant gave each dog a water bowl! Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant!!! LOVE the staff, food, and ambience!!! Can’t Thank Lindsey, Jose, Corinne, & the rest of the awesome Timpano staff enough!!! We will definitely be back with family & friends!!! We’re also excited to work through the rest of the menu! Best restaurant service we’ve experienced and, being a military family, we’ve been around! We absolutely recommend this restaurant!!!
