Lovely setting, food highly overpriced for the quality and quantity. We had to order bread and still left hungry. Steak was overcooked. Butter knife fell to the floor while our server was at the table and he let me pick it up and put it back on the table and didn’t replace it. Won’t be back

Sadly it was not a good experience. We are local to the area and want to support local businesses. Unfortunately, Queen’s Landing and the other Vintage Hotels in Niagara on the Lake truly need to be refreshed, updated and brought back to the standard they used to be at. It was a Friday evening and the place was basically dead. We waited for about 15 min for a server to come over and take our drink order. It took about another 10 min to receive our drinks. My mocktail was supposed to have mint in it. They told me it was delayed as they were looking for mint. It came out later with no explanations and no mint. I didn’t bother to say anything. Our food came with no cutlery. We waited about 10 minutes for that. One of us finally got up and looked for someone to give us cutlery. My food was cold by then and honestly not that great. We asked for another bottle of wine when the food originally came (without the cutlery). The Wine was brought AFTER everyone literally finished eating their meal. We told them not to bother at that point. It had been 20 min and we were ready to leave. So sad to see such a beautiful place slowly die. I really wish they would get it together. Who is managing that place? So sad 😞

My suggestion is that staff should not indicate that the paintings in the dining room were painted by local artists. I believe I am cognizant of almost all of the local artists I can assure you that none of the paintings I checked were any where near local. Honest and checking facts is important.

This was our first time at Tiara, but certainly won’t be our last. We took our waiter, Lucas, up on his suggestions and he knocked it out of the park. We devoured the bread plate, the chowder was delicious and we were so impressed with the lamb and halibut. The lamb had a few purées that were packed with flavour and the lamb was perfectly cooked. My halibut with lobster sauce melted in my mouth. To top it all off, we ended with the banana cream in phyllo pastry. If we weren’t so full, we would have taken a few more for take-out. Fabulous food, fabulous service, beautiful ambience, and what we now consider the top restaurant in Niagara.

Items on menu that are not in stock Wait staff appear confused and not very happy Mistakes in food brought to table… $480 meal for 2 people and it was mediocre at best We are long standing hotel and dining guests of Vintage Inns This was our last shot with them Will not likely return

I was disappointed in the lunch I had with my friend yesterday, 6/19/24. We were supposed to be in the main room, Tiara Room, it was so noisy in there. The lady at the desk asksed if we want to have lunch in the side room. Okay, well, why ask if it is for a birthday in reservations, when the waiter di not ackowledge my friend's birthday? The southwest chicken salad was mediocre. Such a small serving, with about 3 little pieces of chicken. We wanted unsweetend ice tea, the waiter said he would have to make it, and it would take time. I thought this would be so special for my friend's birthday, which there was no mention of by the staff or waiter. What a sad lunch for a popular spot.
