Would definitely take an overnight flight to experience the Bamboo Room again! TAYLOR IS A PHENOMENAL BARTENDER!!! Super knowledgeable and incredibly gifting in mixology craft 👌🏼 would 1000% recommend Aside from their special reservation conditions, Three Dots and a Dash is everything you can dream of, AND MORE! Easily able to walk up and order their deep bar menu. The service, presentation, and ambience are unmatched 🍻

Deceiving and sly. Service was very poor. The staff moved our table upon request, but said we had to first wait 25 minutes. After 25 minutes the staff proceeded to say unfortunately we cannot move your group. They said we have to wait for another table to open up, which would be another 30 minutes. They were able to find a new table shortly after and gave us a round of their shots on the house for the inconvenience. When closing out and already signing the bill, I noticed they charged us for the “shots on the house”, even though they said they were on the house. I had already paid so I went to have them remove the shots off the bill. They were able to do that, but before I had to explain to 2 staff members the situation which felt very repetitive and them not really believing me. In totality, had I not noticed the charge I would have ended up paying for shots that the restaurant said were on the house. Establishments that exploit and deceive their customers should not be frequented by those visiting Chicago; it is not a true representation of our city.

This is a fun Tiki Bar. The drinks are PERFECT. It's a pretty pricey bar- and it's good. Food-wise it's a teeny tiny food menu with limited (to no) GF & veg options. Options are mostly fried, and the french fries we ordered tasted like the oil in the frier was not the freshest. Waitstaff are mostly friendly, ours spilled a tray of water on us, then forgot to take the RSVP fee off of the bill we were given. That's a tricky thing to remember after a couple of rum drinks. We had a hard time getting the bill, and a harder time getting the bill right, heck ordering a second round was an effort. To be fair, it was a Friday night, and the place was filled with young folks having bachelor parties starting an evening of binge drinking. Which leads me to my next point. This is a party bar for the young with their dad's credit card. Our middle aged party of four hoping to re-live our tropical trips to rum distilleries struggled here. We have a vision impaired (low vision) person in the group, those stairs are dark and hard to navigate. I don't know what folks with mobility issues do.

Had an incredible time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Three Dots and a Dash. The drinks were superb, the food delicious, and the ambiance was cozy and fun. It was the perfect way to spend an evening during a holiday weekend with friends!

I live in Hawaii and found little tiki about the place but the orchid in the drink. Menu limited. Staff okay. Too dark for me and not accessible. Maynpbe better suited to the young!
