Welcome to the original Theo's Steakhouse, located on Talbot Street in charming St. Michaels, Maryland. We serve hand-carved steaks, craft cocktails, local seafood, upscale appetizers and all-American classics. Add flair to your meal and book a champagne sabering; extend your dinner party and finish with dessert and a port tonging. Happy hour is 4-6 pm Tuesday through Sunday. Shorts & boat shoes welcome!

Food is amazing-the drinks are fantastic. It’s like fine dining and “Cheers” comes together… Audrey truly does know your name! The best home town spot with a great meal.

Chance is the most wonderful waitperson so versed on all the wines. Met him many years ago at Inn at Perry Cabin. Always great too meet him again! Can’t wait to meet again

Chose this for a special birthday. What a great place! Cozy and inviting. Charmaine, our waitress, was wonderful! The filets, Brussels sprouts, onion rings just amazing! The steaks melted in our mouths! One of our guests had Steak medallions which were not her favorite. Dry and not flavorful. Desserts, key lime pie and ice cream sundae, were quickly sucked down. I wanted to give a 5/5, but am giving 4.5/5 because I’m not a fan of charges for splitting things. How hard is It to cut a steak in half and put It on another plate? I guess $4 worth. That’s silly. We honestly didn’t look at the fine print. If I had seen the charge for splitting, I would have cut It myself and put It on my bread plate. Other than that small blip, we will certainly return!!

Food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend. Our waiter Chance was amazing. He’s very attentive, friendly and gave us great recommendations. The salmon was some of the most deliciously prepared salmon I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh. Their Thanksgiving dinner is a treat any time of year. We’ll be back. Thank you!

A wonderful place! The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was casually elegant, with space for privacy. Compliments to the chef, the Filet was the best ever. It was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. We will definitely dine here again!

We enjoyed our dinner at Theo’s. It was a nice atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside. The filet and salmon entree’s were both cooked perfectly and the flavors were delicious.

When walking into an establishment with many recommendations service should be of the utmost importance as soon as you walk in the door. The bartender did not acknowledge us and four other patrons walked in after us and served before us. We ordered drinks. One came 15 minutes later and the other one was never received. We were seated and again waited 25 minutes before able to order drinks. It took the original order for a drink 40 minutes. Dinner was fair and service was fair. Very disappointed considered all the recommendations.
