It was virtually empty when we were there. The food was good, but overpriced. The waiter was very good. It was pretty cool (temperature).

Business Lunch. We were accommodated at an exceptional level. 4 out of 4 of us rated the meal as exceptional. Scallops, Steak, Salmon. all extraordinary. They offered us a more private table, which was great, but that table was near the ac unit which of course was a bit noisy. The hostess did turn it off without our asking, which was also impressive. They accommodated several special requests on the menu including offering the dinner menu. Stellar experience.

I have lived in the Monroeville area for 21 years and this was my first time at Wooden Nickel. It was a special dinner as it was our anniversary. My wife got a chicken entree and was very happy with it. The bread was good and the mashed potatoes were good. However, I got the strip steak for $33. I ordered it medium and it was well and very tough. I have had better steaks at Applebees for a 1/3 of the price. I was really looking forward to a good steak and was disappointed. Plus there was a group of 8 men who were former Steelers. They weren't loud but it was annoying as everyone in the restaurant asked for pictures and they were literally right beside our table. One older man in the group appoligized to us for all the pictures.

Our server, Lisa, was the best! Very attentive and personable! The food was delicious! I just wish that there was one more shrimp added to the lunch portion of the stuffed shrimp!😊

We were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently. The food was so good! The French onion soup was the best I have ever had. I had seared scallops, my husband had strip steak and my grand daughter had lobster Mac and cheese and all of our meals were perfectly prepared and tasted great.

The food was delicious. The service top notch. This was a date night and we lingered for quite a while. We never felt rushed.
