The waiter who punched in our order was in polite and not respectful. However the food, the place and quality was great

We were one of five groups---all tourists---having Afternoon Tea at the Wolseley. You could tell because we had the silver three-tiered service rack with sandwiches, scones, and sweets and we were all seated on the back side of the main dining room, while everyone else was eating Sunday brunch or dinner in the center or upstairs. The place was busy, and with the marble floor, not a sedate, quiet teatime, but still a very good one. The food was good. It was fun, especially with the right company.

Food was completely cold when served. It was Eggs Benedict which are not good cold….

As always, a great place to eat and take guests. Vibrant ambience and what better alternative to a former automobile showroom?

Truly lovely breakfast. So many choices, all excellent. The English breakfast is traditional and a great way to try all the flavors if you are not local to UK. Fresh pastries and tea or coffee also very good. Highly rate service as well.

My wife and I ordered the well known chicken schnitzel. It was mediocre . The chicken was dry and the breading was flavorless. The two red wines I ordered by the glass, one pinot noir - gamay from the Loire (which in Switzerland results in a delicious Dôle) was poor and the "collaboration" La Tour de By - Woolseley Médoc was equally poor. Having had the same schnitzels at The Delaunay, which were delicious, five days before, I must say we were surprised and disappointed by what seemed just a tourist-trap cuisine. The service by Natalia, however, was impeccable. I am sorry to strike this beautiful venue from the list of favorites for our annual visit to London.
