The Winery Restaurant has been an icon among western Colorado restaurants for over 35 years. The restaurant makes its home in a 95 year old building that used to house a horse drawn fire station. A gas lamp lit, grapevine canopied alley frames this romantic location perfectly. The beautifully remodeled building contains flowered stain glass windows, barn wood and bricks.

Steve Thoms acquired the restaurant in late June of 2004 after taking a couple of years off from his previous restaurant. His mission at he Winery is simple: Show the restaurant and its patrons the attention that they deserve. Use only top quality ingredients, and establish The Winery as the premiere restaurant in the Grand Junction area.

The Winery provides a variety of steaks, chicken, pork and fresh seafood specials nightly in an atmosphere that can not be rivaled anywhere!

My friends and I dined here to celebrate two of their birthdays. It was the perfect place for the celebration. The food was expertly prepared & delicious. Our server, Nathan, was excellent and went above & beyond to ensure a lovely experience for us. We were seated at a table in the bar area where it was quiet, cozy & charming. Wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you for a very special evening!

We took my daughter to The Winery Restaurant to celebrate her graduation, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We specifically looked for a special restaurant to mark this milestone, and The Winery Restaurant was the right choice! The service was outstanding—the staff was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even congratulated my daughter on her achievement, which added such a thoughtful and personal touch to the evening. Our meal was absolutely incredible, I had the ribeye which was very tender, perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. We are so pleased to have chosen this restaurant for this special night. I highly recommend for any celebration or event - or just because.

The meal selections are delicious! I come here every chance I get. Some people save coming here for only special occasions, but eating out is a special occasion. This is my “Go To” restaurant for dinner out every time!

I’ve been going to The Winery since 1986. Never disappointed!! Keep it up as it’s one of the best of 3 restaurants in town.

Great experience. We had the specials of wagu beef and a bass and crab rice. Terrific meals and great service from Jonathan. Expensive, but if you want a special occasion it is worth it.

We were celebrating our 55th anniversary so we choose the Winery. I can't say enough good things about The Winery as usual the food, service and the overall ambience of the restaurant. We drove 30 miles to spend our special occasion at The Winery.
