The Winery Restaurant has been an icon among western Colorado restaurants for over 35 years. The restaurant makes its home in a 95 year old building that used to house a horse drawn fire station. A gas lamp lit, grapevine canopied alley frames this romantic location perfectly. The beautifully remodeled building contains flowered stain glass windows, barn wood and bricks.

Steve Thoms acquired the restaurant in late June of 2004 after taking a couple of years off from his previous restaurant. His mission at he Winery is simple: Show the restaurant and its patrons the attention that they deserve. Use only top quality ingredients, and establish The Winery as the premiere restaurant in the Grand Junction area.

The Winery provides a variety of steaks, chicken, pork and fresh seafood specials nightly in an atmosphere that can not be rivaled anywhere!

Good filet. Tyler bartender was great. DONT FOLLOW OPEN TABLE DIRECTIONS TO RESTAURANT. They take you to the other side of town.

As always Steve and his staff deliver an amazing experience. Nolan was fantastic. This is always our go to place for special occasions. Thank You!

I have wanted to try this restaurant for years! It did not disappoint! Great service! Delicious sea bass! Beautiful atmosphere!

We loved our gathering at the Winery. The food was very good, the service impeccable and ambiance unmatched in Grand Junction. The prices are a bit steep for the food, so it is a once a couple of years outing. Steve, the owner, visited our table several times throughout the night and that was very much appreciated by my mom.

Great service…great atmosphere..nice quiet restaurant….friendly staff. Steak was very tender …but didn’t seem to have much flavor…it was cooked perfectly! We had a side of asparagus…unfortunately it was only about pencil thick which was a disappointment. We love this restaurant and the ambience…just had a couple of shortfalls on the a food item or two on this visit.

We had Jesse and Tyler as our servers tonight for dinner and they were OUTSTANDING. Dinner was amazing, we would rate it 10 stars. Fantastic wine was recommended and served timely. We will definitely be coming back every time we are in town! Cannot recommend this place enough.

We had family in from out of town and reserved a table for 7 people. Service was fantastic, food was amazing, and we had a lovely time. Our out-of-town guests were very impressed with everything about The Winery. Thank you for a terrific evening!!
