We had a great meal, could have done with some doors closing as there was a cold draft from outside. But this didn’t affect the overall outstanding experience

Super dining experience. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff, great feel to the restaurant and great food. I only wish we lived closer.

Excellent food, well presented. Very friendly staff. Only slight thing that could be improved was it was a very busy evening and there was a delay in the table becoming free and the service was quite slow. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We sat in the conservatory area which as amazing views, on a sunny day it does get quite warm but worth it for the views. The food is always good and nicely presented highly recommend any fish dish.

We had booked for a celebration many months in advance as it was my Brothers choice of restaurant. We were a little early and the table wasn't ready (fair enough) but was told we could have a drink and someone would come and get us when it was ready. Bar service left a lot to be desired, almost as if the barman didn't really want to be there (and told me twice he doesn't usually work at that bar)... We had a drink and waited, eventually 20 mins after our table should have been ready I went to check - and was told it was ready but no-one had come to get us (4 very hungry people by this stage). Given we had booked almost 6 months in advance, our table was at the back by the side which meant we couldn't enjoy the views (which I thin is half the point of the restaurant)... I asked to be moved but nothing available. We ordered, starter came fairly quickly, then an unfortunate very long wait for mains. Given we had only really ordered the platter, I'm not sure what took nearly an hour to do. To be fair, when we finally got our food (gone 3 pm for a 1:30 table) it was nice, but not amazing. Overall, I think the service generally was slow and a bit sloppy (apart from one young guy who seemed on it and attentive)... the food was ok but over priced. Its popular most likely as its in a good place but I wouldn't bother with it again. Unfortunately.

If you love seafood in a great setting then the White Horse @ Brancaster Staithe is a place to head to - Staff friendly attentive, service is smooth and not pushy, Food excellent well portioned and presented - Our 2nd time there and will be heading back again soon

We had the best meal here. We went as a meat/fish eater and a vegan and were so surprised. We had looked at the menu online and had some worries about whether we would be looked after, we needn't have. Out came a full vegan menu with delicious and interesting options. The seafood was fresh and the view cannot be beaten!

We will 100% be coming back. The food was fantastic and that was only matched by the incredible front of house staff.

Lovely location along the Norfolk coast overlooking beautiful salt marshes and winding inlets. Seafood is the speciality but other foods like chicken and steak are available - and delicious. Great ambience and friendly and prompt service in the main restaurant. This is a relatively expensive place, but for the odd occasion or trip, is definitely worth it. There is an outdoor area which is closer to the water and offers a different style menu. Need to book as this is a very popular and busy place. It is also a hotel.
