We visited for a special occasion (our wedding anniversary) and were sat at a lovely table by the window. Had calamari and hummus to start which were both delicious (although could have done with more bread) and shared the seafood platter for main. Would have had a desert but as a vegan there didn’t seem to be anything on offer which was a bit disappointing so settled for coffees. Not cheap but the amazing food and service make it perfect for a special occasion.

Overall good. Service a bit slow at times. Staff eye contact missing at times when you needed to ask them something.

Amazing food and lovely service. We had a window table with a beautiful view. I don't know anything they could have improved on. Wonderful evening!

All of the food was full of flavour, involved unique combinations, deliciously fresh and we demolished! The setting is lovely looking out on the marshes and inside also nice. Only area for improvement is service; our table was late and we’d asked several times if ready where someone told us they’d find us when it was but never did. Waiting staff lovely though!

Had a fabulous lunch with a great view. Food was tasty and delicious. Only down was , when seated asked if we wanted water and it didn’t appear for at least 10 mins and only after asking again .

Unfortunately the White Horse failed to meet expectations yesterday. My calamari starter was badly over cooked: rock hard batter casing some rubber hands I think. There seemed to be less staff than before, so by the time I’d sent it back, it was a bit late to accept an alternative as offered. Fair enough I wasn’t charged, but it set the tone for our visit. Main courses were fine, but the petty four lacked finesse. If I could afford to be a regular customer, no doubt I wouldn’t be so peeved, but I’m not

Outstanding location, food and service excellent unfortunately the normally excellent ambience was marred by a rather loud lady on a table near by voicing a very trivial concern
