Unfortunately the White Horse failed to meet expectations yesterday. My calamari starter was badly over cooked: rock hard batter casing some rubber hands I think. There seemed to be less staff than before, so by the time I’d sent it back, it was a bit late to accept an alternative as offered. Fair enough I wasn’t charged, but it set the tone for our visit. Main courses were fine, but the petty four lacked finesse. If I could afford to be a regular customer, no doubt I wouldn’t be so peeved, but I’m not

Outstanding location, food and service excellent unfortunately the normally excellent ambience was marred by a rather loud lady on a table near by voicing a very trivial concern

I booked ahead and requested a seat at the window. We were not seated at a window seat. Then I noticed customers being asked where they would like to sit. Very annoying. I chose the Halibut Dhal. The price was quite expensive. The dhal was tasteless and the fish overcooked. I will happily pay for well prepared and beautiful food. I was disappointed. The atmosphere was lovely. Beautiful restaurant and service was excellent.

Incredible food. The seafood sharing platter was stunning and the quality of food on offer was out of this world. Will definitely be coming back!

Food was excellent, as expected. We both had Oysters & then the seafood grill. The seafood platter looked amazing

The food was absolutely delicious. Excellent service, the staff were all very friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long at all between courses and the drinks were brought out promptly. The atmosphere was lovely, not too noisy but not too quiet. We visited the bar after the meal and enjoyed a drink before heading home. The bar staff were as friendly as the restaurant staff - very knowledgeable and accommodating. My only gripe is I'd love to see more options for non-fish eaters. I understand that it's primarily a seafood loving location but as someone who doesn't eat fish I found the options very limited. Other than that it was perfect.

A wonderful place to come to enjoy the delicious Norfolk produce whilst enjoying the beautiful view. Service was extremely charming and very helpful and efficient.
