Our first visit and a 1.30 hour drive to get there but it so worth it! Wonderful setting, wonderful service and the food amazing and the lemon tart - the best I've ever tasted, just perfection on a plate. It was a special treat for my husband and we would definitely go back again. Thank you so much for making it a truly wonderful visit.

The food was delicious and service brilliant. The views over the marshes, helped by warm sunshine, were spectacular and added to the atmosphere. As if all that wasn’t enough, we enjoyed two hours listening to live music down by the outside bar before we ate - utterly relaxing. Couldn’t recommend The White Horse more highly!

Love the white horse for dining, lovely atmosphere, pleasant staff, food presented well. Love the card thought for special occasions.

Visited on recommendation as being the best food around. Opted for Surf and Turf x 2. I ordered my steak medium, my partner ordered his well done. There were areas of my steak that I considered to be rare, and my partners far from well done. The lobster came smothered in garlic butter rendering it tasteless. In fairness to the staff, when we mentioned the reason for not finishing our steaks, the cost of one steak was removed from the bill. We would much preferred to have had our steak cooked as requested.

We go nearly every year and last night, the staff made a real effort to make our 2nd Wedding year Anniversary unforgettable. Great food, great staff and a great night. Thank you to The White Horse team who made it a special night for us. 5 star! Thanks Adam & Kate
