Biddenden in Kent is home to a small, family-run restaurant. Housed in a 15th Century weaver's cottage, The West House Restaurant is one of only a few restaurants in Kent to hold a Michelin star.

The food here is exceptional. We have had plenty of haute cuisine tasting menus in various michelin starred establishments and the food here compares very favourably. The wine pairings were also very good and well chosen. Thoroughly recommend.

We absolutely loved our meal at The West House. The welcome was warm and felt genuine and we loved the informality. It felt like we were in someone’s home. All the food was fabulous. My favourites were the lobster, lamb and dessert, well everything really! The bread was divine and the amuse bouche with our cocktails. Would thoroughly recommend

Oh my god! It was amazing! We’ve been a few times now and it blows our minds how delicious it is. From lobster to lamb to bass to caviar it was just scrumptious it was! Thank you again for a lovely meal!

Another great experience at the West House. The service is very efficient but also, somehow, laid back. The food was delicious as always. Highly recommended.

Been here multiple times and it never fails to be excellent. Graham cooks brilliantly while Jackie and Jake look after us wonderfully. We will be back again and again.

Fantastic warm and friendly service. There were a few technical problems with the food. And we didn't realise the Sunday menu (not sure about other days) is a set-price arrangement. This should be much clearer on the website. Overall, an OK experience.
