My Husband and I were in search of a nice restaurant with a delicious entre salad. We ordered a salad with salmon. the salmon portion was good and delicious. However the salad itself left a lot to be desired. Extremely minimal on the greens, etc. Would have been nice to be warned that the salad portion size was extremely small on the salad side so that we could have asked for more or chosen something else.

Excellent food and service. Ambience was also excellent, but if the venue is crowded indoors, a little louder than one might expect. Overall - a wonderful evening for our anniversary dining.

The pumpkin ravioli was too rich, a heavy cream base. All I could taste was cream, not any pumpkin ravioli flavor. The other dish was the meatloaf which sat atop a large mound of very garlicky congealed like mash potatoes - like they had been reheated in a microwave - the texture was weird, could not eat. However the meatloaf was okay. Would NOT recommend either dish. Austrian Pinot Noir was good. The service was friendly. We were seated at a window with their soft interior lighting which was quite nice until they turned on the bright lit closed in back patio and then we were looking at an empty bright space with ample table seating not being used. It ruined the atmosphere. After tip, paying $90. I was disappointed and not wanting to go back.

Steak was great, wine selection and service were great, mash potatoes were terrible (possibly instant potatoes).

Really great place. Very young service crew but food is excellent and consistent. Much better priced than Magnolias and better food than many others. For owners; Recommend dimming lights for out door seating some and have something to put over drink/wine glass during big season.

We’ve been coming to West End since it opened but hadn’t been in a while. Our server was lovely and the restaurant still has a nice atmosphere. We both ordered the most expensive thing on the menu and it was awful. The dish was ruined by too much sauce and it overpowered all the flavors. The West End needs to have more quality control over their food (and quite frankly, cocktails) if they want to bring us back. It’s a shame, this restaurant could be really good. Good luck!

Great food worst service ever Got one of orders wrong one of our guests did not get meal until after everyone had eaten Took 30 minutes to pay. They got wine order all mixed up

We arrived on time for our 7 pm reservation. We sat down at our patio table about 7:05. The table for 2 had no place settings. We waited about 15 mins before anyone came to our table. Our order for a bottle of wine and request for waters was placed. After about 7 mins, someone came over and asked if someone came by, we said yes but we still haven't received our wine or water and didn't have napkins or flatware. She told us they were very short staffed. We waited a little bit longer and finally received the water, napkins and flatware. However, she took my knife and said she'd bring another one. She didn't. Finally, our wine arrived. We only ordered 2 entrees and 1 bottle of wine. No appetizers or desserts. We were there 1.5 hrs and not because we lingered. I also put on Open Table we were celebrating our anniversary but there was absolutely no acknowledgement of that. I could accept the slowness if the restaurant was packed but it wasn't. There were more people at the bar than sitting at dinner tables. On the patio, there were 2 parties of at least 8 but their meals were finished by the time we arrived. Someone brought their dog on the patio, and the dog got water faster than we did. It didn't appear there was a manager on-duty to ensure everything was flowing smoothly or that customers were being served. We were very disappointed by the whole evening.

Charlotte was our server and was awesome. She took the whole tables order without writing a thing down and got it all right....awesome.
