The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern has been changing the dining experience in La Crosse since 2006. By offering supreme product and hospitality, we have become a favorite of locals and a travel destination all in the same. Our menus highlight seasonal American cuisine that includes certified angus beef and fresh day-boat seafood. With a focus on the freshest foods of each season, our culinary team allows the ingredients to speak for themselves.     Food was very good with the exception of the bread board-hard as rocks. Non-alcohol drinks could be expanded. The serves were very attentive. The setting is beautiful overlooking the Mississippi River.

    Absolutely wonderful food with caring kind and considerate staff! We are from Minnesota and drive over to the cross and enjoy the Waterfront Restaurant for special occasions. Well worth the drive.

    We loved that a salad, potatoe, and vegetable comes with the entree. Very refreshing, hit it out of the park by not chrging $ 2 for bread Oysters, and out meals were very good. We'll be back.

    A beautiful view of the Mississippi on a fall day. I had a delicious bowl or creamy potato soup and a crisp glass of Sauvignon blanc. I cannot think of anything they could have done better!

    We ended up choosing to dine in the attached Tavern area (which doesn’t require/accept reservations) because we arrived early and were so comfortable there! Dillon took exquisite care of us and the abbreviated menu was still great. Highly recommend.
