The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern has been changing the dining experience in La Crosse since 2006. By offering supreme product and hospitality, we have become a favorite of locals and a travel destination all in the same. Our menus highlight seasonal American cuisine that includes certified angus beef and fresh day-boat seafood. The Banquet RoomDesigned as a stylish, comfortable venue for 24 to 100 guests, The Banquet Room showcases breathtaking views of the Mississippi River and Riverside Park. Amenities include a private bar, coatroom, powder rooms, private parking lot and complimentary presentation technology.The Private Dining RoomA secluded dining or meeting space for a small group, The Private Dining Room looks out over a spectacular river scene. Adjacent to the restaurant and tavern, it seats up to 16 guests.

There is a private parking lot located between the restaurant building and Riverside Park that is free of charge to all Waterfront guests. There are also reserved spots on the first floor in the parking ramp located on the corner of Front Street and Jay Street that are free to restaurant guests.

Everything was top notch from the decorations/ambience, to the service, to the food. I would return if I pass through LaCrosse again and recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great dining experience.

Our server, Josh, was not enthusiastic as he did mostly the bare minimum. At the end of the expensive meal, he asked if we were done and took away our plates that were full of vegetables and mash potatoes. We assumed he would nicely wrap up the leftovers so we could take them home, but we never got the vegetables and mash potatoes we paid for. We were very disappointed and do not plan on dining at Waterfront or recommending it to anyone anytime soon.

My husband and I had dinner at the Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern, and we enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance. Our server, Joseph, was very kind and welcoming to us, as we were in La Crosse on vacation. The staff are very friendly and the food was very fresh. Also it was quiet, which I appreciate. We will come again.

The Waterfront is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely view of the Mississippi River. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the drink and food menu. She was also very attentive. The food was delicious. One of my favorite restaurants.

We love bringing our out-of-town guests to waterfront. We all enjoyed handcrafted, cocktails, and ordered flaming cheese and hot rolls as appetizers. We ordered fresh salmon, and swordfish. Cook properly and tasty with fresh ingredients.

The Waterfront Restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. We sat on the patio. We ate there 2 times within 2 days. Highly recommend the burger and the chicken salad.
