Thank you for your interest in The Wash House Restaurant, where you will find fine Southern coastal cuisine served in a casual atmosphere. Come and enjoy our great Southern hospitality. Semi-casual attire is accepted and reservations are recommended. Our dining room is open 7 Nights a week starting at 5:00pm.

We have the perfect area for private parties and can handle a variety of groups, clubs and events. If you are in need of catering, we are your catering resource. We will come to you for parties as big or small as you like. Whether it's a camp house, bay house, church, farm, wharf or even your house, we’ll be there. Catering for all occasions. Wherever and whenever you need us, we are there for you.

Wonderful experience. We had two tables. 11 people. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Service was excellent.

I love going to this restaurant, especially on Sunday nights! I was able to sit at the bar and had outstanding service from the time. I walked in the front door and was greeted by Wyatt until the time I got my drinks and food served by the awesome Maddie! I highly recommend this restaurant, everything is so expertly prepared, and the people are very professional and very friendly! 🥂😎

The food was amazing and portions were more than adequate. The service was phenomenal from the time we walked in to the time we left. The entire experience was great.

We went for our 40th wedding anniversary. After waiting a good bit, I stood up and found the waitress to get another drink. We ordered an appetizer and it didn’t come until after we received the next order, our soup. She came and asked a while later if we had already been served the entrees! The catch of the day was very dry and the topping seemed like it was the last scoop out of the pot. The chateaubriand was excellent! And the cosmos were superb. Overall a subpar restaurant that were notified of our celebration.

Heard great reviews of this place but certainly didn’t meet up with food (snapper and scallops) were mediocre and tasteless. Noise level was high. Waitress was close to rude. Overpriced and bland food.

Can give 10 stars, A+++? Cocktails were a perfect mix of liquor and mixers. Wine list was great. We had gumbo and tomato basil bisque soup for appetizers. Both excellent. Around the table we had side shell crab, pan seared grouper, and shrimp & grits plus some crab-cakes. All outstanding. We didn’t have room for dessert but got the Godiva chocolate pecan pie to go. That is a little slice of heaven for sure. The waitress even remembered us from last year!! Impressive all the way around and we can’t wait to come back.

We hadn’t been to the Wash House for years until we gave in to strong reviews and visited last year. It’s now one of our regular stops when we visit the Grand. The food is consistently excellent - my wife likes her beef very rare, and it’s amazing how many restaurants can’t get it right; the Wash House does. Our servers have always been very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. This is one of the top two or three restaurants in the area, in my opinion.
