Situé dans un quartier résidentiel verdoyant à proximité de Richmond Park, le Victoria est un restaurant-pub traditionnel avec une touche moderne. Un peu à l'écart du bar confortablement spacieux, la salle à manger du Victoria est située dans une extension de style véranda, lumineuse et aérée, qui donne sur un jardin magnifiquement entretenu. Pendant le jour, le soleil se déverse à l'intérieur, même durant les jours les plus sombres, tandis que les convives du soir peuvent profiter des étoiles qui scintillent au-dessus de la magnifique salle illuminée aux chandelles. Avec un menu varié et éclectique, le Victoria propose vraiment quelque chose pour tout le monde, avec le meilleur de la cuisine britannique se combinant à des touches de saveur méditerranéenne estivale, ainsi qu'avec un soupçon d'expérimentation et toute la compétence du chef Paul Merrett et de son équipe.

Visited The Victoria only a few months earlier in summer. Service was spot on, food was great. Unfortunately the service was a bit haphazard this time but still friendly. The squid starter was bland, badly presented and poor value at £9. The mushy peas with the fish & chips was tasteless. Just expected more after having visited a few months earlier.

All the staff are lovely and the service is outstanding. A big thank you to all of them. We came to a 70’s evening. Although it was enjoyable and the menu was a 70’s menu the food wasn’t actually prepared as if it was the 70’s. We enjoyed the starter and main course but the desert Angel Delight or Black Forest Cherry cake were a disappointment. Especially the Black Forest Cherry cake. It didn’t bear any relation to a real Black Forest Cherry Cake. Such a pity. This one was heavy , sickly & covered with cherries which did not seem to be sour cherries. We had a German Black Forest Cherry cake for our wedding in 1979. The real cake is very light and absolutely delicious. Aside from that we had an enjoyable evening and we do recommend The Victoria.

Lovely, intimate setting for a 1970s themed evening. We had a brief talk from the chef on the food for the evening and his own memories of the era, a really nice touch to set the scene for the evening. The service, as always, was attentive and friendly, there were nice touches such as retro menu design and table setting. Everything from the 70s inspired cocktails through to the desserts were inspired and delicious. Well done to The Victoria for pulling off another lovely event.

As usual a brilliant evening. The 70s themed supper club was good fun, the food very nostalgic, needless to say better than it was back in the day. Can't wait for the next event.

We’ve eaten here many times, particularly for Sunday lunches. Every time we’ve enjoyed our whole dining experience. Great food served well, by great staff in a comfortable environment. We will be going back again. Thank you

I've visited The Victoria many times over the years but the food was the best I had ever tasted and their service was perfect, right amount of being attentive, polite, warm and friendly. Food portions were a good size and menu selection was perfect. Will make a point to return more often.
