The crab cake was good but not having regular tartar sauce seems ridiculous. It was hard to enjoy with the sauce that came with it. The fries were good as well as the French onion and rockfish. I would give the gumbo 4/5 because veggies were undercooked. Loved the key lime pie. It was extremely warm in the main dining room which didn’t help. Our server was great, apologizing for the heat and how busy she became.

We visit this place often, mostly on weekdays, and we have always had a great experience. However, this time, we went for a late lunch on a not-crowded Saturday. I have to say it was a bit disappointing. Our very pleasant waitress was eager to take all of our orders at the same time. We ordered mussels to start and Maryland crab soup to follow before our main entre. We asked to make sure not everything is served at the same time. Our mussels and soups were surprisingly served at the same time. The soups were lukewarm and looked like hot water had just been added to a cold broth. The soups were mostly diluted broth with neither enough vegetables nor crab meat. The overwhelming amount of Old Bay in the soup made it extremely salty. I would say this was not a typical crab soup. Our friendly waitress did not return for our second drink until we were almost finished with our meal. My Alfredo pasta was more like a rigatoni soup, pasta in so much salty cream sauce. The sauce was the dominant ingredient in the dish, overpowering other ingredients. Despite trying hard, I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Maybe their chef was planning to be there later for the dinner crowd, and for lunch, a kitchen aid was delegated to prepare food.

This is a lovely restaurant, particularly during warm weather season. The outdoor/patio seating is sensational and the live music adds a nice touch. Our waitress on 6/28 was wonderful!

Front of the House - Butch - Mr. Fix-It and Ambassador Patti were on their “A” Game. Helping Guests. Clearing tables. Getting water. Teamwork - works. Wait Staff - Ben. Helpful and attentive. Meal - Atlas Farm Salad - no dressing - Shrimp protein - cocktail sauce on the side. Lettuce sized to eat without a knife. Ice tea with lemon. Management - Wonderful. Walking the floor and active and meaningful conversations with the Guests. Re-in forces the Family environment/atmosphere. Cannot wait under the 2025 Parking Lot enhancements are accomplished.

Front of the House - Patti and Amanda. Wonderful Team of experienced and new to TVI. Professional and helpful. Pleasant and hardworking. Wait Staff - Stephanie - menu knowledgeable and attentive. Meal - Atlas Farm Salad - no dressing - shrimp protein - cocktail sauce on the side. Lettuce sized to eat without a knife. Request lettuce sized to eat or else the lettuce is too large to eat without using your knife. Meal is wonderful - solid lunch time item. Kitchen - Missed Manny; however, the Team was fantastic.

First time visiting for lunch and had a great experience. Service was excellent, food arrived promptly and everyone was happy with their meal.

Don’t order the seafood gumbo! It is really a seafood stew. It does not even have okra in it. And gumbo means okra in an African tongue. Plus it doesn’t have adequate or appropriate spicing. My wife and I spent $150 Plus tip. We will not be returning. Nor would we wish anyone else to go to this restaurant. This is not fine dining.
