Pretty Decent menu. Nice spot. Good ambience. Worth a try but it’s no culinary gem by any means. I'll give our server the benefit of the doubt, and consider that he's probably new to both the profession and the restaurant, however-- is that our problem? Apparently it is. He had zero knowledge of the menu.... including cuisines, wines, and spirits. At one point, I asked server for wine list... he brought it to me, laid it down and disappeared, with no time to discuss the list, answer questions, or make a recommendation. After several minutes waiting, I headed to the bar to get some wine questions answered and retrieve a glass of wine. Bartender very kind and knowledgeable... pretty much the saving grace of the experience. Again, server is probably new (one would hope)... nevertheless, I doubt I'll try you guys again, with the food being kind of just "ok." I enjoyed the shrimp and tuna, and the salad was delicious, but the mushroom toast was a bust. The shrooms weren't that fresh nor were they cooked down enough to eat joyfully. Had to force feed myself— very chewy and just generally unpleasant. Hostess was cool.

Lively. Good for groups of friends. We had a bunch of small plates. Everything was solidly good but the Burrata with Roasted Acorn Squash was a delicious surprise. The flavors were amazing. Shrimp and grits- grits were delicious and creamy. Shrimp was weird though. It was served with empty shells? Octopus was not dry or rubbery. Scallops were perfectly cooked with delicious accompaniments. Craft Mac and cheese was also delightful.

Really fun experience with great food. The service was amazing, and with the chef’s menu the food just kept coming. The waiters recommendations were spot on and delicious. We were downstairs, but you could still hear the live music upstairs, and the singer was very talented. I would definitely go back.

We dined outside on a lovely early fall day. Service was leisurely so we really enjoyed our brunch. Portions are nicely sized, enough to take home, and endless coffee refills ae appreciated.

Twisted Tail never disappoints. Brunch menu is especially good. Customized cheese plate, grits and fried chicken were exceptional!

Went for restaurant week, everything was delicious! Server was very attentive, would definitely recommend. Only downside is the non-restaurant week menu isn't a great value for serving size but that is not a deal breaker in the slightest.

We went for Restaurant Week and had the 4 course menu. The food was fantastic and the portions were perfect. The piano player rocked the house and we had a great experience!

Outstanding restaurant! Highly recommend. Staff is top coach and very cordial. Food was well prepared and very hot when served. Waiter was constantly serving our table , in a great way, without hovering. Hats off to the proprietors as you have a great restaurant.

Great restaurant week menu offered lots of options! Good value.Enjoyed. The live music was very good and enjoyable, but it was way too loud. We could not hear each other speak. We've been going to Twisted Tail off abd on for many years. I do think they could stand a redo of the interior space especially the area near the bar the aesthetics look a little bit and shabby. without Restaurant week the total bill when you start to add up all those small plates really gets high. I don't think the overall ambience of the restaurant warrants such a high priced meal outing.
