La décoration chic et sophistiquée plante le décor de cette "cuisine du monde", un mélange provoquant d'influences épicées propice aux belles expériences culinaires à Palm Springs en Californie. La salle à manger est entourée de hautes banquettes semi-circulaires moelleuses qui vous garantissent confort et intimité. Exhalant une ambiance lumineuse et exotique, la cuisine met à l'honneur des spécialités du Pacifique telles que la légine australe cuite dans des feuilles de bananiers ou des côtelettes de porc cuites au barbecue hawaïen. Vous pourrez également savourer un large éventail de succulentes tapas, salades, pizzas cuites au feu de bois et de desserts. Le Coral Seas Lounge, bar branché du milieu du siècle, est bordé de tabourets sexy en cuir noir et rappelle les gais salons du vieux Palm Springs. Absolutely wonderful dining experience as usual! Never a disappointment! Rand and his team are absolutely the best in the valley! Great food, great staff, great service!

The food and service at Tropicale is always excellent. We went right at noon on a Sunday - on Pride weekend - so it was busy and it did get loud. But the service did not suffer. All considered, food was served fairly quickly after ordering.

Unfortunately I had a VERY bad experience with our server and it escalated so much that we left our meal. I and another person in our party ordered a wagyu steak that was a special that night. When the food arrived everyone was commenting about the taste of their entrees and I mentioned that my steak was actually not very good. It was dry and tough and frankly tasted poor quality. My friend that also ordered the steak said that his was actually really good. So we tried each other’s steaks and there was a night and day difference. I continued eating the sides but avoided my steak and pushed my plate aside. Someone came and asked if I was done and to take the plate. I said that actually I’d like to talk to the server about my meal. The server came to the table and I explained that my steak didn’t taste very good and I had tried to friends and it was definitely a different quality. He did ask me what made it not good and I eventually just said that it just takes like a cheap steak. I told him I had eaten the veggies and didn’t need anything to replace the steak, I just wanted him to know. The server then picked up my plate and started to walk away from the table but then said (with his back to us, but still loud enough to hear) something along the lines me complaining about a $58 dollar steak and other comments as he kept waking. All in a notable tone that was derogatory towards my feedback. He kept walking away and I immediately went to the front to ask to speak to a manager. The female at the front kiosk identified as manager and asked how she could help. I then began describing what had occurred with the server, when the server actually kind of aggressively walked up to us and blurted out, “I didn’t mean what you think, I didn’t say anything bad, etc.” No one had notified him that I was complaining, so why would he even think to come need to defend himself if no one had told him about my feedback. At this point I was really upset about how this was..

Our favorite spot year after year for our annual visit- so nice we eat here back to back Saturdays.

Not our best we had a table that the staff bumped into two of the three chairs every 10 seconds. We felt very rushed. We had about two sips of our drinks and our dinner was there app’s were forgotten. Foods good and usually love the place. But I wouldn’t go during Pride weekend again. Wish it had been a better experience. Can’t make up for a special occasion. They just happen once a year

Everything from the staff, to the cocktails, to the food were amazing. Nico was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was stellar and tasted amazing, and the cocktails were creative and delicious.
