We were seated in a table alongside the lobby. Pretty loud. Waiter literally never offered us the opportunity to order a tea - just poured us 3 different types in succession with no teacup change. Weren't offered opportunity to order champagne. Savories were just ok. Sweets were really good, with mini scones as exception - not scone-like at all. Our waiter had way too many tables to provide good service. He never refilled our waters. Way too expensive for quality of food and service.

Food was excellent. Service was poor. They did not acknowledge our reservation with open table (thus open table put us down inaccurately as a no-show). Brought the wrong cocktail, then the wrong 1st course, then did not bring main course for 45 minutes. We will not return here.

The experience is anything but exciting. His first started with the waitress, having an attitude when we bought drinks from the bar in and it stemmed up to over an hour long wait for our food. the manager of the restaurant didn’t do anything. He bought his free drinks, but that didn’t even accomplish what the night turned out to be. the restaurant was not even busy for customers came in after we have been seated. They rejected them at the hostess. They sat out in the bar when I went to the restroom. They had their food before we did when I asked where food was they said it was in the queue. Then I went to the restroom and saw these four people that were rejected already had their food and they were eating so they could not have been in the queue when the food arrived finally an hour and 25 minutes it was cold and inedible I had a steak. My wife had pasta and with sauce and it was cold and my steak was uncuttable and very cold and inedible. I then spoke with a different manager and he apologized. His name was Reno and he took care of the check and sent up a complementary bottle of wine to apologize for the restaurants incompetence of serving a nice meal I expected more from an upscale Omni hotel but I guess I was wrong, I will never dine there again.

The Terrace is a beautiful room in a mid-twentieth century kind of way, but the food is more-than-underwhelming. Our appetizers looked good on the plate but were tasteless. We both ordered the prime rib special but it arrived cold. We sent it back and this time is returned barely lukewarm. Such a waste for such a goreous ambience - that kitchen needs help.

Our reservation through OpenTable was not honored. The waiter was rude and dismissive.

Right amount of food for an afternoon tea. I appreciated that the chef was able to accommodate my husband’s gluten allergy. I also enjoyed the variety of teas that were served throughout the tea service. Finally our waiter Robert was very personable and his service was excellent.
