    It was an OK experience - booked an inside table, ended up at an awkward table out on one of the patios. Entrées were average the broccolini side was a total disappointment, dessert was amazing. Bright side service with top notch.

    Came here for my dads birthday dinner. Our server was so courteous and kind and so thoughtful to make my dad’s feel special. Ambiance is why we chose the strand house but the food will bring us back. Really delicious salads and main dishes, but we all loved was the cauliflower side dish! It was so good I will come back just for that. Overall was perfect for the occasion.

    Really good location, food and service. This was a birthday lunch though for my wife’s birthday, who is gluten free, and recorded as such in the booking, but they gave her a complimentary desert of doughnuts! With a candle! We were also sat in the window with a nice view of the pier and ocean, and half way through our entree they lowered the shade! Which also knocked over our bottle of water!

    It was an absolutely amazing experience! Had taken my 98 year old grandma to brunch for her first time and she loved it! Also brought a good friend and her neighbor who’s98 also they loved the restaurant!

    The Strand House, first of all has the most amazing view of any Manhattan Beach restaurant. But what is such a bonus is that their food and ambience and staff are A+++++ It's always my go to when I am in the area.

    Great restaurant and love the location near the beach. We had an amazing table outside and service was very good. A bit noisy inside and kind of intense in size/scope. Fun for a Friday night but I wouldn't call it intimate, warm or cozy.

    Excellent in every way. It was our friend's birthday and we asked for a special table and got the best in the house, plus a happy birthday menu and a complementary dessert. Exceptional evening.
