Amazing riverside location with friendly welcoming staff. They were so accommodating when I had to call last minute to move our lunch timings. Excellent food presentation. My only minor improvement is the food could have been a little hotter. The beef Sunday lunch was gorgeous with very impressive Yorkshire puds. The lime posset was beautiful sharp and refreshing.

Thank you for a lovely meal! We had a great time with family celebrating. Desserts were wonderful and a very kind server.

We have visited The Star Inn the City many times with family and wanted to treat our best friends at your fabulous restaurant, you did not disappoint From being greeted to paying the bill the service was exemplary and the food was delicious, our friends felt truly spoilt so thank you

Went for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary, great food and service, the environment made it feel special. Thanks for the anniversary dessert

Diner date with my 4 year old. Sat with a view, tables are adequately big enough to acompany your food and a colouring book. Service was lovely, pleasant and friendly. Food service was quick and attentive. Toad in the hole was plentiful for his appetite and was a winner.
