Nestled in between artistic Bloomsbury and a stones throw from Holborn station the Square pig is a haven for working lunches, afternoon coffee or simply those much needed after work drinks.
Juxtaposing the industrial and the delicate we are an eclectic mix of long lunching tables, comfy cosy corners or private areas for drinks with collages and friends.

Our chefs prepare all our dishes fresh in house with the very best seasonal produce. We’ve also put together a collection of our favourite British dishes into tapas style to enjoy 2 or 3 choices at a time. We have a myriad of new and exciting drinks, organic and biodynamic wines, locally produced beer and a wide range of soft drinks for those off the booze.

Booked a table for 5.45. Arived to be told kitchen was "closed" due to serving large party private function. Registered my displeasure - yold it might open in 30 mins! Afyer 20 mins order taken and food arrived wuite promptly. The mudhy peas were stone cold. Asked for them to be warmed - came back tepid so they were abandoned. Food that was warm was ok. Staff very apologetic bùt rather non-plussed. In the end we were given our meals (2 covers) on the house which was a good gesture. Won't be revisiting.

We appreciate/understand your frustrations from dining with us, we had a longer delay than anticipated in the kitchen during your visit and unfortunately you felt the effects of this. Again we can only apologise for this, we didn't wish for you to pay for your visit with us as it wasn't a true reflection of the standard we offer. I am sure you can appreciate we are only human and unfortunately we don't always get it right but we will do our best to make it right, with that we do hope in time you'll reconsider and give us the deserved chance to turn this into a 5 star experience. I went to square pig with work colleagues for a few drinks. I had a table booked on the terrace. We had a really nice time

We had a business lunch hear. We arrived there were no staff to be found. After a chef went and got the team from out the back we were just told to sit any where even though we had a booking. Drinks orders were taken pretty quickly. We were then left for 30 mins trying to catch some ones eye to take our order (we were the only table in the restaurant). The food took a while to come out. It was really good when it did. We finished paid at the bar and left. The place had got a bit busier but over all pretty disappointed especially as we were entertaining customers.

Visited The Square Pig for the first time to watch the Euros final because we were staying at a hotel nearby. Our reserved table was ready & in a great position for watching the match. The staff were really friendly & helpful . Good crowd of people . Would definitely visit again if nearby. Definitely recommend this pub.

Great place, staff were really great and very helpful. They are dog friendly as well which is ideal. The prices for drinks was not too bad for Central London so will definitely be returning in the future. Lovely terrace outside where you can sit when the weather is good.

There is nothing wrong with this pub it was just the wrong choice for a chat and catch up. It was extremely noisy and whilst the staff had put us on a table at the end, there was a screeching woman nearby (who was obviously having a good evening) that made it difficult to talk and hear each other. My fish and chips wasn't as hot at I would have liked although my friend said her food was hot. The profiteroles were a bit disappointing and tasted a bit stale. The staff were really welcoming and extremely helpful. Would I recommend the Square Pig, yes if you are going out with a group for drinks, no if you are going for a chat. We were there on a Wednesday night, it might be quieter earlier in the week.

Horrendous experience and will never reccomend or visit again. Booked a table for dinner on Tue 9th Apr, 7.15pm Arrived, no welcome and had to stand around trying to catch someone's eye. Eventually, the barman called us over, had our reservation on his screen and said "you're 20 mins early", so we grabbed a drink at the bar. We were then grabbed by the waitress, and ushered to a dirty table right next to the door which was freezing, and no cutlery or menu. Sat around for 30mins, went and got the menus ourselves. The waitress then tells us "we are doing a big event down stairs, lots of people and only one chef, will be more than 1hr to serve you". At which point we left and revieved no apology. It's a total hell hole and I'm embarrassed to have recommended it to my work colleagues.
