Table was right near the door and hard for person sitting on the booth side to get in and out of to go to the restroom. Had to move table. We had reservations, and glad we did, because it was packed! Noise level was high. At a table for two we could converse and more or less hear each other, but a larger party would’ve had difficulty! As vegetarian, the best veggie burger ever had!

Well executed New York experience - they are a well oiled machine. To be able to accommodate and produce delicious meals for a pre theatre crowd they deserve many thumbs up.

Have been to The Smith many times…always come back because of the nice atmosphere, good service and of course the great food! Haven’t had a bad meal there. Came for lunch today….we were a group of 7…had Nikolai as our server who was the best! We were all so impressed with his professionalism, friendless and general kindness when answering questions about menu items and making adjustments to orders etc. Something about his demeanor that just made the experience that much more pleasant for our group. And I saw him treating other tables the same way. And no this isn’t his mother, lol….truly a random customer who was just impressed with our server and thought his outstanding service should be recognized.

This location of The Smith is consistently excellent. Sitting outdoors is key. Beautiful outdoor space and less noisy than inside. Food is always delicious. And service was efficient and friendly.

Great food outstanding service on a very busy Sunday morning! They know how to keep things moving and make you feel like you are the most important customer without rushing you. We ll be back!

It took the waitperson about seven minutes to even acknowledge us, but other than that, the experience and the food was amazing

The service was efficient and friendly. The cocktails and food were top notch. The sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed.

The Smith is so convenient to Lincoln Center...seems like a no brainer to eat there before curtain. The service is always good and the food is consistently good. When booked before curtain, expect some ear shattering acoustics. The noise level makes the subway at rush hour seem like a serene dream. Impossible to have any conversation. Not sure if we will be returning .

First time at this Smith location. We are regulars at the east village Smith. As usual the service food and value were excellent. We were seated in the rear room. The noise was deafening. I had to shout to speak to the person sitting next to me. We all left with our ears ringing. I will never go back there unless they do something about the acoustics. All Subway tile and tile floors. Need some rugs or sound insulation in the ceiling. An awful experience .
