   Yesterday I took my mother for a show and she ordered the Saturday special which was the ribs and she said that it was one of the best ribs that she’s ever had. It was falling off the bone it was tender, and the service was very nice although it was loud Because shows were emptying out. It still felt warm, pleasant, and inviting. I’ve been to several of your locations and I enjoyed each one, but yet yesterday, just seeing my mother with such a big and bright smile on her face and enjoying her food and company and just getting a warm smile from the hostess was unforgettable

   The Smith at Lincoln Center continues to impress! We had an excellent dining experience. The food is consistently good. Our table of four each ordered different dishes – pork chops, gnocchi, branzino, and chicken – and we were all thoroughly delighted. Each dish was delicious. The value for the quality of the food and the service was outstanding, truly second to none. We highly recommend The Smith for a fantastic meal.

   Unfortunately the noise level in this restaurant is unbelievable. It is impossible to hear your table mate. I wanted to leave. When you are spending this kind of Money you want some civility. It is just too crowded and the ambiance unbearable. I felt as if I was at a football game or fraternity party. I alas will never return here. The food was good though.

   This is a great place for a tasty quick bite after a Lincoln Center matinee. Even with the mob of fellow opera goers who simultaneously descended on the place, the service and food were superb. A good value for the neighborhood. Note: Dinner menu is not available until after 5:00. Expect a high noise level—it is a bustling, boisterous place.

   I have gone to the smith more times than I can count due to its proximity to Lincoln center. Each visit gets worse and worse and I wonder why I continue to abuse myself. Reservations don’t mean much, the tables other than booth are terribly placed in trafficked areas and are wobbly at best. The nonsense of the transition menu being enforced at 4:50 and being told that the dinner menu starts at 5:00 and the order can’t be put in is really nonsense. I think after many years and many visits have finally had enough of being treated as a one time visitor and I will find another restaurant in the area that wants to maintain customers. I do not recommend this to anyone.

   This is one of my favorite NYC brunch spots - the food is consistently good. Started with the sesame calamari- so yummy with a delicious gochujang aioli. I had the grilled chicken sandwich - it doesn’t sound like much but it was very tasty, on a ciabatta roll with tomato jam, burrata and basil. My son ordered the vanilla bean French toast, he enjoyed it. We shared an order of home fries too, which were crisp and well seasoned. Service was attentive without being intrusive. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.

   Service is very slow and the place is crowded so not good for quiet conversations or if you’re in a rush

    Our serve was lovely and tentative. Since I didn’t want anything too heavy, I ordered an English muffin. It was delicious. Great for morning meetings, so quiet.
