Never again! We have been coming here for 25 Christmas Eves, give or take a couple, as my parents love this place. Lord knows why. This year was extra bad. Arrived at hotel and elevator out of order. Okay so 91 year old grandpa takes the stairs. The restaurant had almost zero holiday decorations. Most un-festive I’ve ever seen it. And it was deserted, should have been a sign. Hostesses unwelcoming and bored. The dining room strangely had all the window tables sitting three feet away from windows. Sat for 10 minutes before a server even approached the table. Given a holiday menu with 4 entrees and no choice of starter or dessert. Asked for regular menu and was given a paired back lunch menu. Odd as the menu has generally been quite good for Christmas. One of the 4 items was already sold out at 6:45pm Food we received was good but it was all cold. Unfortunately only one dessert which was chocolate and 2 in party do not eat chocolate. We were never offered coffees or after dinner drinks. This is one of the nicest ocean front spots in the city. Prime location, yet they have a dated uninviting restaurant with mediocre menu and cold food. To be honest if it wasn’t Christmas Eve we would have left as soon as we saw the menu. We will not be back

I had a great Christmas Eve dinner here on my own. The staff were amazing and the food was superb. Looking forward to come back here

Christmas Eve Prix Fixe Menu offered a first course of Turnip Bisque. Not kidding! CREAM OF TURNIP SOUP!!! Then saw the awful drink special, an eggnog concoction that sounded equally horrific. We passed on both, and ordered off the skimpy menu. She had the papparadelle with beef ragout. Overcooked pasta should have been returned to kitchen, but she's too polite. I was happy to have ordered a poke-bowl appetizer for my main, which was OK, even with the slightly dried rice. Maybe it was the warm martini that put me in a charitable mood? We looked over the sad dessert offerings and decided to go elsewhere, paid $100.00, and will never return.

The service is always excellent at The Shores! Will and Riley took excellent care of us! The Thanksgiving buffet was out of this world…..huge variety and everything was perfect! A truly wonderful celebration for which we are all very thankful!!🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful view of the ocean, watching dolphins jump through the waves. Delicious food, excellent service, quick food delivery time, delicious drinks. Dessert was wonderful.

Had a great Sunday morning brunch! Service was a little slow for it being not that busy, but overall was a great experience and food was delicious.

It’s a beautiful location. We sat steps from the beach. We ordered an appetizer that took thirty minutes before we got an update that it would be ready in another 5 minutes. That came and went. 10 minutes after, we were told they could not make the appetizer, but our entrees would be out shortly. It took another 10 minutes before our entrees arrived—just two sandwiches. It was about an hour from the time we sat before we got any food. They did deliver the appetizer at the end of the meal, which was a nice touch. The food was just okay. This is more of a place to have a drink and look at the ocean.
