Vous aimez le porc, le vin et la bière ? Après avoir créé l'Eddie V's, le Roaring Fork et le Hopdoddy, Larry Foles et Guy Villavosa vous présentent le Salty Sow. Ayant réuni leurs talents culinaires, les chefs Harold Marmulstein et Nox Ybarra ont pris les commandes de ce restaurant raffiné d'Austin proposant des plats élaborés de A à Z. Le Salty Sow sert une cuisine rustique moderne, alliant les nouvelles techniques de cuisine aux méthodes de l'Ancien Monde, comme le braisage, le pochage et les ragoûts. Les cocktails sont confectionnés à partir d'ingrédients frais du jardin ainsi que d'alcools locaux et bio. Fondé par des amoureux de cuisine de longue date, l'établissement accorde un soin particulier à la préparation de A à Z à la main de tous les plats.

Salty sow was the perfect spot to kickback and celebrate my brother’s birthday. We came during Happy hour and the food was tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant is casual.

I try to eat here whenever I get to be in Austin. And introduce friends & colleagues to it, too! Always a treat. Delicious cuisine in a fun & informal setting. The best!

Excellent all around experience. We decided to give this a try during Restaurant Week, and it did not dissapoint. The food was freshly prepared and it was a curated menu from start to finish. We drove from Georgetown, and plan to make the drive again. What a hidden neighborhood gem. Run, don't walk to this restaurant any day of the week!

My fiancé and I came here for date night and this place was incredible. Food, cocktails, service, ambience, was all on point. We dined here during restaurant week so I had a few items not on the typical menu but everything we ate was delicious. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had dinner at Salty Sow to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. We had such a great experience! We had reservations and arrived with a happy anniversary card on the table signed by the staff! Chris, our awesome server, brought us Champaign so we could have a toast! The rosemary honey chicken and biscuit, and truffles deviled eggs are a must have!!! So much flavor and an amazing fry on the chicken! We split the pork tenderloin with checker grits and it was so tasty! Finally the butterscotch budino was a perfect ending to the meal. But don’t forget the drinks! Try the Mezpal and Maple Flavored Old Fashioned…both were really good! We will definitely be back! Thank you Chris for being such a thoughtful server!

The Salty Sow is excellent in every way. Servers (Jordan) kindly & inobtrusive; the patio was perfect; food was prepared perfectly. We love it there.

Salty Sow continues to be, pound-for-pound, the best restaurant in Austin. You cannot beat this delicious food and incredible service for anything remotely close to these prices.

Outstanding service. Food came out quick and was incredibly delicious. Came here for Restaurant Week and was delighted by the experience! $40 for a full 3 course meal, and also the Happy Hour deals are a steal!
