Always a pleasure today I broke out of my Norm for salmon and had the Haida gwai halibut special and it was truly outstanding

The only issue we had was the ambiance. It was too bright and the glare took away from the city view.

This is a Excellent Restaurant. Location is great, the Service was great and the was out of this world. My wife and I loved it and so did our guests from Scotland. FIVE STAR highly recommended. Thanks

Unfortunately, the alder-grilled flavour, for which The Salmon House is so well known, was not at all present in the Alder Smoked Sablefish. The Sablefish was very bland and lacked flavour. We have frequented The Salmon House for more than 10 years and ever time we order Alder Smoked Sablefish. it has been superb. It used to have lots of delectable alder-smoked flavour and the skin was nice and crispy. Unfortunately, now it has no alder-smoked flavour and the skin is not crispy. The Alder Smoked Sablefish was unique to The Salmon House. But now that uniqueness is gone. The manager came over to our table and told us that they are now no longer pre-smoking the fish or not pre-smoking it for as long. This change in process unfortunately renders the fish tasteless.

Consistently outstanding food. Impeccable service - there when you need them, invisible when you don't. More than adequate parking.

We started with the homemade bread and smoked salmon butter it was so good we ordered a second one. My guests had the sockeye salmon for the main and they said it was the best they'd ever had. I have the fennel potato gnocchi with a single pan seared scallop and it was absolutely delicious! The view is spectacular - I real Vancouver gem!
