Ambiance … perfect service ….. perfect Food…. Needs improvement .for an upscale restaurant the food was just average .I was expecting to be blown away. Even the dessert failed to pleasantly surprise me.

We've eaten here quite a few times before, and it has always been very good and fun. This last time, however, the main courses were cold when they came to the table and my wife's rack of lamb very tough. Chef's starter and the oyster appetizer were terrific, however. Our waiter seemed very rushed and otherwise pre-occupied with other things. He basically dropped off our check and just walked away. We left cash and just walked out. I think because we arrived late due to traffic and promised the Maître d' we'd be done in 90 minutes, he figured we weren't spending much and could care less. Dining time is limited to two hours, so be sure you're there on or ahead of your scheduled time as they are quite strict with this rule. Traffic in the immediate area around the restaurant has gotten even worse than it was. Give yourself plenty of time to arrive.

It was the second time we dined at the NEW Saddle River Inn. The new Inn is very good but the old Inn was better.

Outstanding dining experience. Our server Ty was wonderful. Fit for foodies and consistently delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary and wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else.

Best restaurant in Bergen county. The food is exceptional had the crab cake and hamachi appetizers. The bone in Sirloin and Colorado lamb chops were all fantastic. The cost is high but worth it. Great service!
