We had a very enjoyable family birthday celebration. The food was excellent and the staff were brilliant. Thank you, we will return.

Our first visit to The Royal Oak, and what can I say we had a lovely meal, food was amazing and we could not fault any of our courses. Staff very welcoming and attentive. We also took our dog along and sat at the bar area. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will return again soon.

We celebrated our anniversary here with a beautiful lunch. Everything was outstanding from the setting, service and delicious food. The Royal Oak is a very special place. The setting mirrors the gorgeous village it can be found in. We will be returning lots!

Gastropub with open kitchen and lovely garden. Really pleasant Friday lunchtime relaxed vibe and worked well for business lunch. Food was excellent and decent value as well. Plaice and chips just the right size and excellent fish nicely cooked. Parking in the village wasn’t an issue but am sure could be on busy days. All in worked very well for what we wanted.

This place has had a total re vamp and it is really fabulous. Food is really great quality, wine list is extensive enough and it is always busy which gives it a great feel. I absolutely recommend x

Booked upon recommendation. The Resturant itself beautiful, staff very attentive. But the food was not great at all. Sadly the food apart from the bread basket and ribs, was a let down. It was a shame.

Lovely setting in picturesque Yattendon. Dining room and decor at the Royal Oak is amazing, lovely gardens and setting. Food on this occasion was disappointing, some menu items were not available and staff were slow. The gluten free bread board was three slides of dry loaf. Our main meals came before we had finished our starters. The roast chicken was very dry. There was some confusion about availability of dishes on a Sunday which left our daughter disappointed she was unable to have a pizza.

A really nice lunch at the Royal Oak. Not the most vast of menus but all delicious. Lovely interior and great staff
