Weekapaug Inn has always been one of our favorite places to dine. They work hard to do everything right. Since we were celebrating, I had asked for a table by the window. The bar tender was helping out and tried to tuck us into a small back corner table. When I objected, they cleared another spot and quickly remedied the situation. I think he may be new because he also didn't know how to make a Cosmo, (fairly common cocktail) nor did he have the necessary ingredients. Other than that, everything was absolutely fabulous, including the service.

Our experience was wonderful! The service was incredible - very attentive staff. Also the food was unbelievably delicious. We will be going back!!

We had a pretty good meal at the Weekapaug: our wait staff was excellent and the setting quite nice although if it had been less cloudy and foggy we would've enjoyed the view more. We had to ask to be seated at a window and were surprised that we were not seated where there was a good view of the water. Food was fine although the dressing on the Caesar salad was almost sour it was so strong.

Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. Food was amazing. Service was terrific and the atmosphere was very charming.

2 couples, 6:30 reservation, at the end of May. The day was sunny and warm and we walked around the lovely grounds before going in. If we’d been inclined we could have had a drink in the Adirondack chairs on the lawn over looking the salt pond. Our waiter was very attentive, but some communication was a little awkward—for instance, when asked what the oysters were, he replied the regular ones. We finally did talk him into finding out the name—and they turned out to be from the cove in front of the restaurant. So in truth, they were really the regular ones, it just wasn’t clear to us what he meant. Three times during the meal the serving support individual interrupted our conversation, for instance to tell us about the amuse bouche or bread, as though they were in a hurry. An a la carte main menu or a 4 course tasting menu with wine pairings were options. Our meal choices—asparagus soup, farm vegetable platter, spring pea salad, oysters, duck breast w lamb sausage, filet mignon, pan seared haddock, and short rib gnocchi—were all excellent and generous, but not overwhelming in size, and the service was well coordinated. The wine and spirit list was reasonably extensive—I would love to study it more. Lattes and cappuccinos were available as decaf or high test. We have been previously, say once or twice a year, over the years and we will definitely return. The ‘veranda’ seating outside over looking the lawn and pond is wonderful when the evening weather permits.

We checked into the host station and they couldn’t find our name only to ask if our friends had come before us and we were told no and asked if we wanted a drink at the bar. We ordered a drink and I texted my friend and asked if she was there…they had been sitting for 25 minutes! Friend has a nut allergy and the server took note but FORGOT to tell the chef and she was served pesto!! Thank heavens she noticed. I was served halibut and what I thought was a black bean on top of the fish which in fact was and OLIVE PIT which I bit and when I told the server she said these things happen! Empty water glass, server was asked to take our order, all around BAD EVENING! No comp meal will ever make up for the lack of attention DO NOT EAT HERE!

Every single bite we had was outstanding. The seafood in particular was excellent. Very polished service. Amazing view of the salt pond. Tables are nicely spaced so you can easily have a conversation.
