The Restaurant at Convict Lake is widely recognized as the finest restaurant in the Eastern Sierra and a "locals" choice for special occasions. Dine in a romantic and casually elegant atmosphere located just 10 minutes from Mammoth Lakes across from the Mammoth/Yosemite Airport.

Our menu features continental cuisine and such sumptuous specialties as rack of lamb, beef wellington, grass fed beef steaks, fresh seafood and pastas. We have an award-winning wine list including some of the best vintages around the world and a martini bar. If you are not up for a four course meal, enjoy appetizers and drinks at the martini bar in The Lounge. The lounge offers a separate menu and HD TV's to watch your favorite sports.

Wonderful restaurant in an area where you would not expect this level of food, service, and ambiance. I ordered the rainbow trout and was served the thickest and most flavorful trout I have ever had. And I comparing this to Idaho trout which was very good but less than half as thick. Started with the Belgian endive salad which was delicious and quite good size. Finished off dinner with bananas foster served tableside. Our waiter Wayne was cheerful and it was a pleasure having him as our server.

All 4 of us enjoyed the meals we selected . Our server was excellent. Our food was served promptly.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Restaurant at Convict Lake! Our server really took good care of us and he even told us how Convict Lake got its name. The food was delicious and definitely lived up to our expectations. Very generous portions of perfectly prepared ingredients. The crab and shrimp cake was tasty and served on a whole salad of arugula. We didn’t need to order the goat cheese and arugula salad, but the warm goat cheese and the dressing was very good. Then we had the duck and the beef wellington, which were recommended by friends, and we enjoyed those dishes so much that we were too full to eat dessert! Next time we’ll have to pace ourselves! A great meal and a great experience.

Once again my favorite go to place in the Mammoth Lakes area. I have been here over 59 times in the past 1/2 century

The most consistent dining experience on the East Side. Waiters always gregarious and attentive without overpowering your experience. Setting beyond compare. Good always meticulous. Our go-to when up in Mammoth

Snotty wait staff who slams plates and silverware down on our table? That’s the latest event that we experienced at the restaurant. We come here about 3-4 times a year over the last ten years and we have realized when we bring friends or family to the restaurant we actually warn them about how bad the service is. They never disappoint. The food is good but the staff will leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Interesting and tasteful combination of ingredients in both salads and main courses; each vegetable was spiced uniquely making the combination of flavors on the plate quite enjoyable!
