The Queens Arms is a cosy pub hidden under the cobblestones of Edinburgh, and home to the city's Best Sunday Roast.

Join us for a cosy Burns Night celebration! For £40, enjoy a 3-course meal and a welcome cocktail from Kingsbarns Distillery. Kick things off with Scotch Broth and crusty bread, followed by Haggis, Neeps & Tatties with a Kingsbarns whisky peppercorn sauce (vegetarian option available). While you dine, soak up the sounds of the bagpipes and enjoy a reading of Burns’ timeless poetry. Finish the night with Cranachan – a classic mix of raspberries, cream and oats. Good food, great company, and a touch of tradition – we can't wait to see you there!

We had booked a birthday dinner, the wee booth was cramped . Bar was way too warm so couldn’t stay for long as felt so uncomfortable

Myself and partner booked a table for 7pm and had the Sunday dinner. We just had the main course which came out very quickly. Food was good but Yorkshire puds a bit burnt. We were sat on an incredibly small table in the bar area which was really noisy and cramped. We had only just finished our first course and half way through our first glass of wine the waitress came to remind us we had around 20to 30 min left on the table. We had been there less than an hour. I totally understand when it’s busy they need tables but this was just greed. We would not return as there are so many places to eat in Edinburgh without it feeling rushed and cramped and crowded

The staff were nice. I had the Sunday roast it was almost inedible the steak was so tough and chewy (medium rare). Hurt my jaw to chew so much so I gave up

Our servers are trained to check on our guests a few bites into the meal, and this happened on your visit. Really nice atmosphere . Very busy when we went but it is a very busy time of year. Staff were lovely and friendly

Cool place to hang with friends! The food was very good and the staff were very nice especially Sophia our host! Highly recommended

Food was ok - very busy place and reminded frequently about your 2 hours, even if you’re seated late. We asked about whether we got the table for a little longer and the person was quite rude and rolled her eyes at us as she walked away which put a bit of a negative spin on things. Food was ok, not as nice as previous but don’t think I’d go again. Fine for a quick meet up though.

We are sorry to hear you felt rushed at your table - unfortunately the festive period is a very busy time for us, so we often have bookings back to back all through the day. Though in your case some of your party were running late and you therefore chose to be seated 15 minutes after your table was booked, the time slot that was state in your booking confirmation could not be extended. We do try our best to accommodate last minute changes, but it is, unfortunately, not always possible. We hope to see you again soon, and have a great festive period!

It was a fabulous meal great value for money & the staff were so helpful & courteous! It was quite loud however it is the run up to Christmas! I also liked the fact you can bring in dogs as well. Overall an amazing experience.
