Step in and you’ll be transported back to the elegance of the era: an intimate and inviting room, classic cocktails, world-class cuisine and the best in live entertainment seven nights a week. Hobnob with celebrities, locals, and visitors alike at Michael Holmes’ Purple Room — where Palm Springs plays!

Tuesday-Thursday enjoy acclaimed jazz entertainers from 6:30 to 9:30, No cover.

Tuesday through Thursday is the best Jazz Happy Hour in Valley from 4:00 to 6:00

Friday through Sunday join us for dinner and a show (tickets required) featuring nationally-known entertainers.

Consistently good. Excellent entertainment, food and service. It’s my go to place when we have out of town guests . Love the history and stories behind the venue.

Everyone who comes to Palm Springs should put the purple room on their schedule of places to go in the evening at least one time during their stay. What an outstanding experience!

The Purple Room is a must do for any trip to Palm Springs for anyone 21 and over! It is old school swanky! A great chance to dress up desert style, enjoy amazing live music, dinner, drinks, dessert. It lends itself to intimate conversation and new inspiration. Rose Mallet and her three band mates are so talented and entertaining. Everyone dining at the Purple Room is treated like a Rat Pack VIP!

Felt like dropping back in time to the 50’s experience of a night club, Jazz band on Tuesday night was excellent as was the singer (Rose Mallette). Bit pricey for senior citizens, but well worth it.

The staff is exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. The Chicken Parmesan was delicious . The entertainment is where this club truly shines. The performances are not just shows—they're experiences that transport you to a different time, where music and showmanship reigned supreme. The live bands, the crooners, and the entire ambiance pay homage to the golden age of entertainment, making it an unforgettable night out.

The opportunity to be in a place with historical significance with live entertainment from Rose and the jazz band was so appreciated! We would have loved to stay and relax longer, however, there was an unpleasant odor throughout the entire space which we noticed upon entry, and the food was not the best. But once again, it was cool to be in this space that has been around so long. And Rose was great!

Our table wasn’t in the best spot but they had plenty of other options available. We were next to the kitchen so servers were constantly whizzing by us shouting corner and it was difficult to see the stage. Drinks and food was slow but Our server was very nice! Sharon and her band were really fun. Glad we went and would go back again!
