Really enjoyed Sunday Roast at The Princess of Shoreditch. I was quickly seated and the service was excellent. Quality of the food was top notch.

Really good. The Australian guy who seems to be some kind of maitre d’ was genuinely top notch. Food also at the very top end of ‘gastropub’ style stuff.

Our visit to the Princess of Shoreditch was very very good .. We went for Sunday lunch/dinner. Without out doubt, hands down the best roast dinner I’ve eaten, the food was top class. Attention to detail with service and presentation top class. The chef certainly knows how to get flavour out of his food. I had the pork and would recommend it. The young lady that was serving our table was very polite, well mannered and very friendly. All in all 10 out of 10. Thank you very much. 👌🏼

Solid food with some interesting options. Menu is small however we managed to find some great food

Just ridiculously good food. Their new chef is a creative genius, with the flavours matching the beauty of each dish. The chicken with nam jim was beautiful, the octopus with doughnut (I know, bear with me) was simply extraordinary. The mains were eye opening in their flavour, with the Sichuan style pork making me want to order another one again. Service is excellent and a beautiful wine list to boot. Whisper it (as I’m sure it’s a curse to say) but this place is going to get a ⭐️

Service was great. They did ask how everything was but I was initially unsure if my expectation were unreasonable, also was hungry from travel so did eat it all, but it did not live up to prior reviews or photos from others as I checked following the meal online. Has the Sunday roast sirloin. Beef was fantastic as was the gravy. The Yorkshire was dry and crisp, may have been deep fried to reheat. All the vegetables were old and reheated, the cauliflower cheese was just cauliflower that has been put under an element. No horseradish cream. Dessert was fantastic (sticky toffee pudding) Perhaps the miss was due to my dinner being a bit later (8pm) or it being a bank holiday weekend. From everything I saw in deciding on this place, it seems out of the norm. Would cautiously try again when in London.

Everything was lovely. Only comment is the dish had new potatoes on the menu. They didn’t come out and I asked and was told it doesn’t come with them

My husband and I booked dinner here on a whim on our first night in town, hoping to have a nice simple dinner. We were blown away by the outstanding dinner we had. The service was excellent, as was the ambience. The food was truly incredible and set the bar very high for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cool, fine dining experience tucked away in Shoreditch.
