The food was amazing and love the pub setting, the only criticism would be the acoustics in the dining room, if you get a large group dining alongside you, you will have trouble hearing each other. I am not sure there is a lot you can do about it. Actually, it was a shame we couldn’t dine downstairs which was empty.

Fantastic find - gem of a restaurant! Excellent service. Refined, very good food, nice-, cozy ambiance and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We chose the 3-course set lunch menu, and added the “Octopus with Charred Hispi Cabbage, Tako Yaki Sauce, and Doughnut” from the À La Carte Menu. The waitress was helpful and attentive and the food was excellent (the octopus especially so). The only minor negative point was the stale smell in the ladies toilets. Otherwise the experience was perfect.

Food was good. Just check your bill at the end as we were incorrectly charged for something we didn't order. Had to let them know and then they took it off.

Lovely setting upstairs accesses through spiral staircase. Not sure if they have alternative entrance for mobility impaired. Food was excellent. Couldn't make a single fault, including the dessert that was a perfect 3rd course. The downstairs bar might seem a bit dim on entrance but you'll love the light and decor upstairs. Only minor comment is that it was quite hard to hear my partner across our table for 2 with the noise from other tables.
