The Prime Rib Restaurant and Wine Cellar offers a fine dining experience to patrons in Gillette, Wyoming, and surrounding areas. Established in 1983, The Prime Rib Restaurant is owned and operated by Ken Barkey. The Prime Rib Restaurant provides excellent quality dishes like steaks, seafood, and prime rib. It also features a comprehensive list of delicious desserts, such as New York cheesecake, chocolate lava cake, and raspberries with Russian cream.

As an upscale yet casual restaurant, The Prime Rib Restaurant in Gillette provides top-quality wines from all over the world.     This is the second time they didn't have our booth reserved. I had the apple panini sandwich and there wasn't any apple on my sandwich. Our waitress was not very attentive either. We've always had great service and food in the past, not sure what is happening.

    The food was good, as usual. The service, once she got there was good. We had sat for 15 minutes and finally went to see if we had a wait person. Really no complaints, other than not your normal efficiency.

    First time at Prime Rib the price was reasonable and they gave out wiki sticks to the kids to keep them busy. They waitress was amazing and was super helpful and attentive. We will be returning.

    reservations at 6:30 got there at 6:20 got seated immediately got a drink quickly waited on rest of party of 9 last one got there at 7! Sham on us!! Got put in room with small 2-3 year olds they were really noisy! I’m hard of hearing so with background noise I could not hear much of conversation at our table! Food was as always good! Wine selection by the glass is not very good used to be much better! Full bottle not a problem! Food was really slow coming from kitchen! Overall experience ok not what we’re used to at this restaurant!!

    The waitress forgot to put our appetizer in. She also forget to bring the dessert menu. She was more into hanging out, talking. She was nice enough. Good was very good. I had the peppercorn and mango chutney fillet and it was excellent.

    The food was phenomenal! Best steak I’ve had in years, 10/10! You team rocks. Wait time for food took a bit longer but the place was very busy so that’s totally understandable. Definitely will be returning

    Our server did a great job, esp with us having 3 kiddos. She checked on us several times and did a great job.

    We were in a bigger room and there was a large group in the room, as well. They were very boisterous and, at times, it was hard to hear our own table. In general, the room we were in was nice - we've been seated there before - but it feels like it could use a refresh. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
