Richard has been the custodian of The Potters Arms for over 8 years now, before taking over The Potters Arms his background has been 25 years in the Independent Restaurant trade, working with fresh food, searching and building relationships with the finest suppliers in the area to make sure that the food served from the kitchen is consistently the best it can possibly be.
We have just built a terrace bar which will be open for brunch and crepes, coffees, Ice Cream, Slush Cocktails & Pizzas.

Bill the Head Chef at The Potters has come in and taken over the position and his idea is that The Potters Arms being a Classic British Pub, our Menu should replicate that with lots of homemade pub classics, however with his culinary skills he will introduce a Daily Specials Menu that will be superb quality.

                                        Perfect food as always, never disappointed with portion size and quality of food, service was a little slow but to be understood on a sunny day and an event such as Fathers Day, roast dinner was massive as always and pudding was great, third or fourth time I’ve had the biscoff vegan cheesecake and I would order again no problem, well done Richard and thanks for a lovely meal yet again

                                        We went for Father’s Day. It was nice that we did not have to choose from a set menu and pay in advance. Food was nice but basic (no frills).

                                        We stayed overnight and enjoyed a pleasant evening meal with the family. The food (mainly Thai) was really delicious, something for everyone of all ages. The room was comfortable and the shower was good if compact. Breakfast was excellent for those who like the cooked variety though a greater continental selection would have been helpful. All in all a really good experience.

                                        Excellent food and very good service. The pub was a little quiet for a Saturday lunchtime, but we were quite early (12.00). Staff friendly and well kept beer

                                        Pleasant place. Good service and good Asian fusion menu. Friendly staff. A useful stopover. Not sure as a destination, but this was a Tuesday lunchtime on a grey day!

                                        Went on a Sunday for a birthday celebration. Roast chicken was lovely, lots of side vegetables, but the roast beef was tough. Son had a steak which was also tough. Steak of the day apparently. Had to ask for more gravy for our roast dinners. Puddings were nice but again had to ask for more custard! Bit tight on their sauces! Busy pub. Seems popular. Friendly staff.
