    The Pluckemin Inn has one of the finest chefs in New Jersey. The offerings are beautiful, inspired, complex, and amazingly flavorful (quail, aged beef, seafood, salads, sauces, premium ingredients, etc.). The service is excellent and attentive and atmosphere is comfortable and inviting with quiet nooks that allow you to enjoy your conversation with little awareness of others around you. They also have an extensive wine cellar. It is the superior choice for those seeking an amazing culinary experience in a relaxed, inviting setting.

    Beautiful night to sit outdoors and have a casual meal with good drinks and wine. Food was delicious.

    Excellent sommelier who listened to our preferences and recommend a great bottle of wine The foie gras was superbly balanced with a mix of blueberries, pistachios, and lemon pound cake.

    Everything about our evening was just wonderful. Delicious, creative cocktails and a tempting bread selection were a great start. First course Oysters were sparkling fresh, and the Foie Gras Tourchon was an exceptional combination of flavors and textures. Main course specials of Flat Iron Steak and Sturgeon were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent, and wine list is truly impressive. All this in a lovely and comfortable atmosphere. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back!

    Special was great but burgers were not good and not cooked as requested. Burgers were pressed down and dry and so were the buns. Very disappointing for a burger at that price. Beautiful bar room but sadly food did not deliver as we came for the burgers. Service was very nice but can’t make up for the kitchen.

    I never go wrong going to Pluckeman Inn for lunch. it is a 50 minute drive for me, but well worth it! The staff is always wonderful, the room is inviting, the wine list exceptional. Every time I go I leave feeling like I treated myself to a wonderful experience.

    Been to this restaurant more times than I care to count. Food is always good, service can be slow at times but most restaurants are running with smaller number of wait staff so I get it. Prices are up there but the meals are always enjoyable. Extensive wine list as they have a successful online wine business called plucky wines. I am a frequent customer for lunch and sometimes for dinner too.

    The last time I had dinner at the Pluckemin Inn was about 10 years ago. I remember it was very good and that many people from my previous company had positive things to say. I invited a customer and a team member for dinner last night and they were both very impressed with the food and my customer said he would be back. Our appetizers and entre's were consistently great. All of us thought the food was outstanding. To be fair, the desert was very good but not as good as the rest of the meal but I have to give 5 stars since the food was as good as the top restaurants I eat at in NJ. I select my restaurants based on Open table and other reviews of 4.8 and 4.9 and I would say it was as good as the best 4.8 and 4.9 restaurants I have had dinner at. The service was very good as well
