    Our waitress was so fun and helpful ! Very fresh salad bar with so many choices! I had Prime rib which was delicious!

    Had been wanting to try the Pewter Mug for a while. Our kids gave us a gift certificate so we were looking g forward to a wonderful dinner. Seated in an auxiliary dining room with zero ambiance, very bright lighting against stark white walls. The salad bar was good - well stocked and fresh. Soup was lukewarm. My husband ordered a NY strip, medium. His steak was cooked to order. I ordered the ribeye, Pittsburgh. My steak was barely charred and more well done than my husbaand’s medium. One of our friends ordered 1/2 duck and she was served two thigh/leg portions. After hunting down our waiter, we both requested our entrees be redone. Her second duck was a proper half with breast and lot high portions. My steak was heavily charred, cold on the inside and tasted/smelled of whatever is used to ufuel the grill. I ate some and brought the rest home. We gave the server our gift card and credit card for the balance. The process was confusing - he gave us duplicate checks plus the customer copies for the same amount and told us we needed to sign both.

    Always a pleasant and excellent service from the wait staff and excellent food. The only issue is the noise level. It's always noisy.

    The salad bar is renowned that is being exceptional. I agree with that rating, outstanding. The prime rib was so delicious. The waitress was working so hard as busy as the restaurant was, but gave absolutely excellent service. She also had a lovely personality.Our only problem is we had to get a reservation as early as 4:30 PM because the restaurant is so popular. We will be back.

    Our waiter John was outstanding very good at his job. He was funny attentive and got everything right and on time.
