Le Palm Court de l'emblématique Plaza Hotel a subi une rénovation complète chapeautée par le maître Architecte Thierry Despont. Le Palm Court présente des menus savoureux classiques américains du matin au soir, alors que Despont a su transporté l'esprit de Central Park à l'intérieur, créant une ambiance chaleureuse, intime et glamour. Le mobilier sur mesure offre une atmosphère détendue, et l'éclairage est bien adapté pour une réunion de déjeuner professionnel ou une soirée de cocktails conçus par le mixologue Brian Van Flandern. L'après-midi, le thé brille vraiment avec une vaisselle personnalisée de la Chine, une liste de thés avec la profondeur du monde, et bien sûr, un peu d'Eloise aussi. Le chef de pâtisserie Matthew Lambie crée des desserts uniques qui combinent sans effort les éléments classiques et modernes, tout en restant fidèle à la hauteur du Palm Court. L'élégante salle à manger est marquée avec un dôme de verre teinté d'une hauteur impressionnante ajoute une touche de vieux New York au sens moderne de l'hospitalité.

The location and the food are, of course, fantastic, but I cannot commend the service we received enough. Our waiter was outstanding and went above and beyond. We came for afternoon tea and had a magical experience--to be remembered for a very long time. Thank you to the entire Plaza team.

Mary was wonderful and made High Tea memorable for my wife’s first trip to NY. My only wish is the clientele would adhere to the dress code but alas, these are the crumbling times in which we live.

An absolutely beautiful seating area, though for a high tea it seemed out of place to have sugar sachets instead of cubes. We were also most aggrieved by the scones. I east gluten free so the fact there were scones available was fantastic, however when l cut into it, it crumbled. The tea itself was lovely, the earl grey pana cotta definitely was the best dessert and the savoury options were definitely the highlight. Probably a little pricey for the quality. But the Plaza has a special place in my heart and it was till a wonderful experience.

Disappointed this time. I have been to The Palm Court twice in the past and the tea service was much better. The tower has nicer items and the ambiance of the court was much more elegant. Sad to say the years have put a damper on the experience, just not the same as it was. Especially for the price, I expected more. I don’t think I will go again, sadly.

Two adults and 2 children 4 and 7. The girls were excited for Eloise tea and the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and grilled cheese sandwiches. We didn’t notice right away but they got adult sandwiches . It was difficult getting someone’s attention to let them know so I finally got up and told our server. They eventually brought the girls their appropriate sandwiches but it should not have happened.

Had such a great time here with my parents on a quick trip to the city! We loved every second we were there!
