Le Palm Court de l'emblématique Plaza Hotel a subi une rénovation complète chapeautée par le maître Architecte Thierry Despont. Le Palm Court présente des menus savoureux classiques américains du matin au soir, alors que Despont a su transporté l'esprit de Central Park à l'intérieur, créant une ambiance chaleureuse, intime et glamour. Le mobilier sur mesure offre une atmosphère détendue, et l'éclairage est bien adapté pour une réunion de déjeuner professionnel ou une soirée de cocktails conçus par le mixologue Brian Van Flandern. L'après-midi, le thé brille vraiment avec une vaisselle personnalisée de la Chine, une liste de thés avec la profondeur du monde, et bien sûr, un peu d'Eloise aussi. Le chef de pâtisserie Matthew Lambie crée des desserts uniques qui combinent sans effort les éléments classiques et modernes, tout en restant fidèle à la hauteur du Palm Court. L'élégante salle à manger est marquée avec un dôme de verre teinté d'une hauteur impressionnante ajoute une touche de vieux New York au sens moderne de l'hospitalité.

On peut s’attendre à beaucoup mieux mais l’expérience est agréable ne pas y aller en espérant être envoûté par la qualité des plats ou du service

The service and food were terrible. My daughter and I went for dinner at 6:30 on a Thursday. It was not crowded, we had a reservation, and barely saw our server. The food was awful. The ambiance of course is beautiful, but I guess it is just a tourist trap.

Overall this is a very good experience for a special occasion I would say. It's an iconic setting, the tea is delicious, the food is pretty good (not amazing but solid). Worth doing it at some point in life but nothing you have to drop everything to do either. Overall 7.5 or 8 out of 10.

I took my friend to afternoon tea for her birthday. It was lovely and she was thrilled. My only complaint is that for $120 per person I thought the sandwiches were skimpy. In London you can order more of what you like, but here there were 4 finger sandwiches (which were lovely) and you had to pay extra for a few more. But it was a terrific celebration.

We went on Monday, four teas and three sets of pastries, I pod 700 dollar, we know is a tradition but they really in the sky. Additionally the service is terrible and the food is not that elevated than they believe. A real experience in London was ten times better and half price! In the four seasons hotel. So Plaza should improved its quality on the food and service if they want to keep these ridiculous prices. No just the place and reputation will be enough!!

Horrible experience. Family of 4 on time for a 6pm reservation, and dressed appropriately. The hostesses were lovely but the server treated us like trash. She gave us the evil eye the entire time, splashed water sloppily into our glasses, looked angry the entire time, and was barely attentive. We were planning on staying a lot longer and a great deal more money but left quickly after only one beverage and a snack. Completely ruined our daughter's Eloise dreams. Also, my kids are 12 and 14 and we're well behaved.... certainly did not deserve to feel disrespected, especially for the prices they charge. Also side note, if you're going to charge $30 for a cocktail, it should be at least as good as most modern bars. The cocktails were as overpriced and poorly-made as in Las Vegas. Not surprising, given The Plaza is also over perfuming itself similar to a Las Vegas hotel.
