Le Palm Court de l'emblématique Plaza Hotel a subi une rénovation complète chapeautée par le maître Architecte Thierry Despont. Le Palm Court présente des menus savoureux classiques américains du matin au soir, alors que Despont a su transporté l'esprit de Central Park à l'intérieur, créant une ambiance chaleureuse, intime et glamour. Le mobilier sur mesure offre une atmosphère détendue, et l'éclairage est bien adapté pour une réunion de déjeuner professionnel ou une soirée de cocktails conçus par le mixologue Brian Van Flandern. L'après-midi, le thé brille vraiment avec une vaisselle personnalisée de la Chine, une liste de thés avec la profondeur du monde, et bien sûr, un peu d'Eloise aussi. Le chef de pâtisserie Matthew Lambie crée des desserts uniques qui combinent sans effort les éléments classiques et modernes, tout en restant fidèle à la hauteur du Palm Court. The afternoon tea was superb especially the cucumber and mint sandwich… delicious! The service was second to none very friendly really enjoyed our afternoon will be recommending to family and friends… Thankyou 😃

It’s high tea at the Plaza. Hard to get better than that for a mother daughter day. Lovely service & the atmosphere is simply unmatched.

Our server Elvis was exceptional. He was attentive , kind and gracious. He made us feel very special and made my nieces birthday very memorable. The food was exquisite and the tea outstanding. We will be back!

Service was plentiful , gracious and professional. Some of the sandwiches and pastries were not very good, especially for the price. While the room is lovely and the palms decorating the room lend a gracious air, the large bar in the center and the loud music make the room look more like a nighttime room than a place for afternoon tea. The website suggests business casual dress yet many people showed up in shorts and sneakers which made us wonder why we took the time to dress nicely. The ladies' room is down a long bare hallway down a steep set of stairs with no elevator. I spent over $300 for tea for my granddaughter and me and, while the experience was fun, the value was quite poor given the food, lax dress code, music and lack of a gracious ladies' room.

Beautiful experience! Exceeded our expectations for ease of reservations and check-in, as well as the variety, quality and quantity of the food and drinks. Truly lovely!

I’ve been to other places for afternoon tea but this was a big disappointment. Tables are way too close and small! There was absolutely no space once the service came out. The tableware was plain! The food didn’t taste all that great especially the desserts. The scones were the best part of the entire meal. The Chai tea tasted like regular tea! Just a huge disappointment. Won’t be back!

Such great, prestigious service. Amazing place for a special day. Tea was served at the perfect temperature. Great selection of teas also. The scones were warm, flaky and the best I've ever eaten. Tea sandwiches were as delicious as they were beautiful and the foie gras macaroons with caviar on top, especially decadent. The desserts were amazing, with one exception the chocolate enrobed chocolate pound cake was quite dry. Oh, and my daughters birthday was made extra special with the personal, hand written note she was presented with, the personal birthday cake of chocolate mousse the waiter brought to her while singing happy birthday and the adorable Eloise white chocolate pop to end with. Such a wonderful day, so happy we dined here for my daughter's special day.
