    The AC was broken. It was stuffy and hot and they had candles burning, it was crowded but quiet. The door to the rest of the facility outside the bar area was closed, which was maybe supposed to help with the AC but didn’t. No air flow. Had an appetizer and left.

    I took my family to Olde Bar for my husband's birthday at his request. He had been to the original Bookbinders years ago, and wanted to go back. He was pleasantly surprised to see that it still retains a lot of the charm & ambiance of the original. We had good service at a high top table in the bar area. The cocktails & food were good for happy hour. We then ordered dinner and also enjoyed our meal. We won't wait as long to go back next time!

    I love this place, but they were short-staffed and disorganized. It took a very long time to order, but then service was friendly and efficient. Fantastic signature cocktails. The food was tasty, but one dish lacked the advertised veggies and another featured a very thin pork chop.

    The service was absolutely horrible. Our waiter told us he was having a bad day and that he forgot about us MULTIPLE times. My sister’s salmon was raw. And then they gave her the same piece of salmon she sent back after telling her she would receive a new plate. We didn’t have to pay for the salmon meal, but the service was so bad that it was not worth the time or money. Will never return.

    Food was good but came in small portions for the price. Espresso Martini was deceiving, as it came in a small glass. Cool, historical feel, but was dirty and dusty.

    Love the Olde Bar because it is so reminiscent of the old Bookbinder's, but tweaked by Garces. Loved sitting in a booth at the bar. Food was great and just hit the spot. Cocktails & wine were excellent. Our server Chris was knowledgeable, very pleasant and realized I'd left my credit card behind. They phoned me as I was leaving their restroom and I was able to thank him in person. This is a place I go to again and again.

    Portions were small, prices were high, wait was long - despite lack of a crowd. Lots of fries but very empty lobster roll and very little chicken with the biscuit. Wanted to revisit Bookbinders location I remembered from my youth.
