Le Old Inn est un pub traditionnel au cœur du village idyllique de Holt. Situé à proximité de la ville historique de Wimborne Minster, le Old Inn est la destination parfaite quand vous avez envie d'un repas traditionnel de pub cuisiné maison. Avec de vrais feux, un beau jardin et un service fantastique, ce pub vaut vraiment une visite. L'équipe a travaillé dur pour mettre en place un menu qui offre quelque chose pour tous les goûts. Tout est fraîchement préparé au Old Inn, du pâté de foie de volaille aux pépites de poulet pour enfants. Le restaurant est fier que tous les repas soient traditionnellement cuits à base d'ingrédients d'origine locale. Very friendly and welcoming staff. All waiters were friendly, attentive and on the ball providing great service. Good atmosphere and the food was also excellent.

This is a lovely country pub. The outside seating area is lovely, lots of plants and flower and comfy seating. The food was really good. It is pricey, but I had zero complaints with mine, so I was happy to pay that price. My only issue was that we inadvertently ordered a really expensive bottle of wine, but didn't actually see a wine list so weren't quite prepared for that cost at the end. Partly our fault for not asking, but unusual not to have a wine list with the menus. The staff were fab. Would absolutely recommend - just ask for the wine list before you order the Malbec ;)

Four of us went on Sunday lunch time. We received a friendly welcome when we arrived. We were shown to our reserved table. A guy came to take our drinks order. Then we were given our menus. Lots of choice. Starters two Brie one Camembert and a prawn cocktail which was full of prawns with a very tasty sauce. Two pork belly roasts and two chicken breasts in a lovely mushroom sauce, all with a selection of freshly cooked vegetables. One battered banana, one cheesecake and two lots of mint choc chip scoops. All the food was neatly presented. The service was professional and friendly all the various staff seemed very happy and helpful. The prices have gone up a bit, as they have in most places, but we felt was fine for the quality of food and service.

A previous visit for a roast on Mother’s Day was excellent but on this occasion the food was a bit disappointing. Four of us had burgers which at £18 and £20 per potion was a tad basic to say the least. The meat quality was good but some salad wouldn’t have gone amiss and maybe some additional greens or peas for that price!

Lovely country pub. Sat inside but there were covered areas outside with heaters. Good choice of food. All very friendly waiting staff. Would recommend this pub.

My wife and I decided to eat out this weekend and chose The Old Inn. We always enjoy eating there. Good food well cooked with a wide choice of menu. The staff are always polite, respectful and friendly. We both had a seafood starter (whitebait and tempura prawns) and the pork belly for our main courses. Well recommend these dishes.

Another lovely experience. The food was excellent as always the staff were very attentive which added to the overall experience.

The food was not as good as in our many previous times there and the Dorset Crab salad had a huge piece of “Plastic” buried inside. The Steak and Ale pie which we were informed was made to the exact same recipe had No pieces of steak as in previous times of eating. Overall I’m sorry to say this was not one of the good times of eating here.
