Everything was fabulous except our server wasn’t the friendliest. He wasn’t rude but he obviously didn’t want to be there. For example, he poured water in my glass spilling some ice and spattering water everywhere including over me and my mother and just walked away. He was bothered by any questions we had and while efficient, he didn’t have to sacrifice our experience. It was my mom’s 81st birthday so not the best way to spend it. Would go back because everyone else and the food was fabulous, but if in his section again, will be asked to be moved.

I ordered my steak medium rare, and it came out well done! I sent it back, and it came out well done! My husband's meal was great. I just learned not to order steak here, but we will go back!

Nice venue. Feels very safe and community originated with a collegetown slant. Food is upscale bar fare (as is typical fairly salt forward on the food - drives beverages). Appetizer crab fries were too salt forward for me. House spinach salad was fresh with a pleasantly fragrant dressing (high point). Fried green tomato sandwich was not bad just pedestrian. The bacon was salt forward (again) and a little overdone or just sub-par quality. Needed a good uncured black pepper bacon not cooked so aggressively. The tomatoes themselves were too far in the background and they were lost behind the bacon. The blond brownie used a more bitter chocolate with the sugars of the ice cream and caramel. Great balance (nice finish). The server was ok. Restaurant was understaffed. An average of four may be a little generous but the venue was great and two dishes were very good. My overall average would probably be 3.5 out of 5. Which would round to a 4. Potential on a better night when they are more prepared to execute their menu

We had a reservation. We were on time and crammed at a table in between 2 other parties…the other side was completely open. Maybe that was based on servers area and rotation. It was SOOO loud. Server was good and attentive. The chicken parm was dry and the salmon Szechuan bowl was very salty and Luke warm. Not impressed overall.

So good that this was our second visit in two days!. Food well prepared and generous portions. Service from Whitney was extremely friendly.

Excellent service for our lunchtime party of 6. Beverages were kept full! They menu has a great variety of Salads and sandwiches. Four of the women in our group had salads. Extra dressing was offered as needed. I personally had the soup and chicken salad special. I was impressed with the serving size and enjoyed half of my chicken salad the next day. My only issue was the noise level. It was very hard to hear one another during the height of the lunch crowd. Later in our meal, when fewer people were in the restaurant, we were better able to converse.
